66-lb base arrived broken half into. OS gave immediate refund, but I desperately needed the base, not the refund! To bad for me, no "overstock" on this one! Late in the season I guess...it might have been pretty study but that is just a guess.

Ordered this stand on July 27, 2016 based on its "weather resistance" to wind, particularly. Today with 1 MPH winds the umbrella tilted and the stand broke completely in half! Contacted Great Offer Stock and they want me to return the stand for which I no longer have the packaging!! Meaning I will need to go purchase some packing material! Furthermore, I have to take the 66 pound stand to the UPS store! Not a happy customer!! Will certainly think twice about ordering from them again!!

Great umbrella stand! Holds my oversized umbrealla securely.
