Easy to install This fireplace is very easy to install and operate. There is no timer feature in this one and the cord does come out of the right side. Take care of the remote because you need that to make the little adjustments to the two colors (blue and orange) - a nice feature to adjust the visual effect by mixing the two colors. We really like the reflection of the crystal (glass chunks) in the mirror in the back. Remember to take the protective plastic off all of the glass face of the fireplace before you reinstall it - we had to remove the face twice cause we missed some of the plastic. Warms the master BR sufficiently on high and the heat comes out of the top, so no installing inside a wall. We ordered the larger of the two sizes and love the size on our wall. So far so good and we like this product. Exactly what we expected from the description.

Beautiful and functional fireplace! This fireplace came packaged very well. It was easy to install, just make sure you anchor it to wood studs or use good drywall anchors. There are 3 flame color choices and flame intensity levels, which is a nice feature. There are two heat settings, low and high. We often used the the low setting in our loft and it warmed up the area quite nicely. Heed the warnings of the clearance required above the fireplace as it does generate a good amount of heat on the high setting. The timer on the remote control provides peace of mind for those who tend to forget to turn off appliances. This is a quiet fireplace and is aesthetically pleasing. One thing I wish it had was some kind of channel to hide the cord. I used pushpins to secure the cord below the fireplace. Yep, I'm that picky. Lol.

Nice little fireplace Goes up real easy - directions are perfect -took my husband and I apx 15 minutes to put on wall. Remote is super nice to have by bedside - provides a romantic fire without heat if needed - add the heat for those upcoming cool evenings. Fire changes to 3 different colors if desired. Even has a timer for effortless turn-off. Clear crystals give it a nice realistic rich look so even when it's off it still looks real high-end. Only con I have is I put it on a wall to the left when you enter my bedroom and it sticks out further than I thought ( apx 6 inches) and the side view is not especially pretty. Would I recommend ? Absolutely - it's definitely a nice addition to our bedroom at our lakehouse :)

Bang for the Buck . . . Looks great--better than pic. Easy to install. The cord is placement is a bit unsightly. I coiled up excess cord and bound neatly with cable ties, and used cable staples to tuck the cord against the wall under the lip of the unit and hung unit directly over outlet so that only the plug is visible (wish I could attach a pic).

You need an opening of 18" min. above the top for the heat to come out. If you only want the fireplace flame effect it should work OK if your shell is firm and sturdy as it must support wall anchors for the screws to hold it in place.

I installed mine under my flat screen and below the mantle. The heat / blower is discretionary so you could simpley not use that feature if you don't have enough room. Other than that, I've had no trouble with mine and rarely use the heat / blower anyway. Good luck!
