I don't know why so many low star reviews for this item. You get what you pay for, right? If you would like expedited service, white glove delivery and assembly I think there is a very WEll known store for that, but they also charged like 8X more for a very similar item. That is exactly what happened to me. Earlier this fall, I shopped for an Armoire - I knew I wanted sleek looking, midcentury design Armoire, preferably all wood - but there is no one making real wood furniture anymore! The one I picked it cost around $1600 - and after some thinking(why would I spend so much money on an Armoire???) I decided to cancel the order and still got charged around $* for white glove delivery that never happened (because items was shipped to warehouse). Vertex 1 door/5 drawer Armoire is such a steel for the price. It has a beautiful brown/dark Grey/Charcoal color. I personally love it! I purchased few more items in similar style to go together in my bedroom. Yes, it does arrive in three large boxes, and yes there are a lot of parts to assemble. But I find it actually fun and useful to go through that process. It's almost building a furniture lego toy for adults. So Relax and be happy you scored awesome looking piece of furniture for such a little$$$! :)

I wished I had listened to the other reviewer. This dresser came in 3 large boxes (all at least 4 feet high and heavy). There were 11 pages of instructions and it was completely overwhelming. Some of the pieces had been slightly chipped but it's not even worth the hassle of sending it all back. Beware!!

I have placed an order in December. And the furniture arrived and was surprised to see three extra large boxes sitting in front of our house. I had no idea that it was assembling piece. But it was rather inexpensive, so I said to myself what was I thinking. So, I decided to tackle from noon. I have done some assembly to do in the past, but this was quite a lot of parts to put together and took good 8 hours. I discovered two hardware to secure a drawer were missing. So I notified the Great Offer Stock and was told that I will be getting in within 1-2 business days. Instead, I received it after about two weeks or so later. I also had one more issue. That is leg. The pre-drilled hole in all four legs were too large for the provided screw and washer to properly secure and attach to the furniture. It did not latch on because the hole was 10mm, when the provided screws were 6mm or 8mm. Needless to say, screws kept on turning. I asked for smaller holed legs to be shipped to me if only mine is the defected legs. After a few days, they said all the legs are the same, therefore, sending me legs wouldn't solve my issue. They offered me several options 1) $** partial refunds and accept the furniture as is. 2) $** Great Offer Stock credit and accept the furniture as is. 3) get the full return after finding all the furniture undo the furniture in to pieces and find the shipping package and send them back to get the full refund. 4) get the shipment, get what I need to complete the furniture, and send the rest back to them. etc... Believe me, if you have time, great. If not, do me a favor. Buy something eles or else where. I had to run around town to find the screws that may fit and I visited hardware store three times for it. And then, that did not do it, then I had to use my own power tool to drill hole to properly attach to the furniture. I happen to have power tool, but most of us don't.
