Very nice piece- very solid and stable. We put a couple coats of tung oil on it, and it looks great.

This kitchen island is heavy, an absolute solid buy. Easy to assemble. Mine did come with some damage thanks to ups. The box was so heavy I'm sure they were letting it fall as they push it type thing. I didn't call Great Offer Stock because sending this piece back was not gonna happen. .to heavy! But the product is great very sturdy no wobbling . Also you can leave natural or stain , paint it to your liking.. overall I would recommend this product. And it's not very big but not to small either!

The table is very solid and nice looking. We stained the base, skirt and drawer front leaving the top, shelved and knobs unstained. It looks nice. We plan to use mineral oil to preserve the butcher block. The one problem was that one of the skirt pieces was incorrectly cut causing the legs to splay. The bottom shelf didn't fit. We ended up shimming the side which is ok,

Really like the island ... It's very sturdy. We stained it to match our cabinets and it came out very nice, left the butcher block top as is. It gives the island a nice contrast in color.
