Because there were no reviews on this product, I was nervous to buy it. But, for the price, I couldn't turn it down. This bed is AWESOME! It is perfect for my daughter (and our baby-to-be once she's older). It actually is REAL wood, which, to be honest, surprised me. This bunk bed was so much less expensive than other sites that I did not believe it could be real wood. Assembly was fairly easy, given you're putting together two beds. My husband and I did it in under 2 hours...we aren't handy and our kids kept coming in to see it. One mistake we made: when screwing in the slats, we accidentally covered the holes that the ladder would later need to screw into. So, be sure to leave those free! It was easy to remove the slats, but it would have been nice not to have to. Overall, we are VERY VERY pleased with this bed. And I would highly recommend it.
When the box arrived, I was sure that it wasn't two beds. It just seemed too small. But once I opened it up, I thought that there was just way too many pieces in there (and wow was that a heavy box!)! Anyway, after sorting the pieces, my husband and I got to work with two Allen Wrenches and Philips head screwdrivers, and within about 1.5 hours, we had these adorable bunk beds! We didn't have any problems at all during that phase, everything just fit right where it was supposed to go. We put the mattresses right in, and my daughter climbed right up to the top one, and fell in love! I honestly couldn't be happier with these. It really is two complete beds, if you don't want to stack them! The only hard part was making two beds, having to climb up and around to tuck in sheets, etc, but that's to be expected. The only thing I'm going to add to the bed is a piece of 1 inch particle board to rest under each mattress (because when I tuck in the sheets, they just jut right out underneath the 2X4's that you space beneath the mattresses. Also, just be aware when putting in those spaced slats to not cover up the hole for the ladder. Overall, we are so thrilled with these beds, and would definitely recommend them! Also, we used a 9" memory foam mattress in each, and there is still about 7 inches of coverage for kids to not fall out.
We are very happy with this bunk bed. The quality is very, very good for the price. It took my husband 4-5 hours to assemble it alone. We did end up purchasing a 6 inch mattress for the top bunk instead of the standard twin mattress. The depth of the top bunk is about 13", so with the slender mattress it gave some rail protection.
I bought this for my daughters. They are too young for bunk beds so they are in separate rooms right now until they are old enough for them. They were VERY easy to assemble as I did them by myself. I am not the "handy" person in any way so that was great that I was able to get them up by myself in about 2 hours. I was hesitant of the this product because of the price but it really exceeded my expectations. It all was delievered in one box which was very heavy but other than that, it was great!
This is an good bunk bed, very sturdy. Took me about 3 hours to assemble, but could be done faster. The bullet item "No box spring or bunky board required" is incorrect: the strats (supports boards for under the mattresses) are thin and not strong enough to support a mattress without a bunky board or a sheet of plywood to distribute the weight. One of the strats broke within the first couple minutes after I had the bed assembled. :-( After adding two pieces of 3/4" plywood cut to 38.5" x 74", and contacting customer service to get a replacement slat, this bed is now working excellent for my nephews.
We love these twin bunk beds! They are easy to assemble and look great! Work out great for our grandchildren, and very well made too. I love how they can be used as 2 separate twin beds, if preferred, or together as a bunk.
After looking at a variety of bunk beds, we opted for this one due to its clean appearance and great price. My daughter wanted the one with the tent, but I figured I could easily make my own tent for the bottom. It took about 1 1/2-2 hrs to build, not fun but the instructions were clear. You need two people sometimes during the project. Also plan on clearing out the room as you need to build both beds simultaneously and then stack. We are very happy with our purchase.
Fairly easy to put together but needed two people to construct bunks. I like that these bunk beds can convert to regular twin beds if and when needed. Color is antique white that perfectly matched other furniture we had. Bought two bunks!
I ordered these because they were low priced and had good reviews. PROS: white, solid wood, sturdy, clean and streamlined. Easy to assemble. CONS: Spacing between lower bunk and top bunk is less that it seems in the picture. I would like to raise the top bunk somehow to give the child on the lower bunk more airspace between the bed. While it was easy to assemble, there were little letter stickers on each piece to help identify pieces for building. I'm still scrapping off these little stickers. Bed was missing a couple drill holes, which we had to do ourselves.
Solid construction and nice design, but requires a very thin mattress. We tried with our 9in mattresses, and it just doesnt work-- bottom bunk doesn't have enough room to sit up, and top doesnt have high enough rails.
This is the best bunk bed ever! Took about 2 hours to put together.. very sturdy and super cute!!! My 8 yr old twins adore it !!! Perfect size for them plus lots of room to grow and not too high to the ceiling. Solid wood and easy to put together!
I have had the bunk beds for a few years and they have withstood the roughness my kids have thrown at them. They are light in weight but have help up no broken pieces. I like that you have option to use separately as two twin beds or that you can stack as bunk beds.
We purchased these bunk beds for our vacation home. They are fabulous. Very sturdy and good quality. Bunks are actually wood. Assembly took approx. 2 hours and once assembled they are very beautiful in person. We felt the little pine slats were too thin and knotty to be safe so we had a piece of wood cut for each bunk to place under the mattress and wala... sturdy and safe. This is a very nice set of bunk beds and would buy them again & recommend to others. Also, Great Offer Stock had excellent customer service. Our first box came fully damaged & unuseable due to UPS damage and Great Offer Stock reshipped us out a set very fast to meet our needs for upcoming company on our vacation at the end of that week!
We have had the bunk bed for about 5 years now. I did add extra slats to the bed for extra support for bouncy kids (bought a set of IKEA twin slats for the bottom on clearance & doubled up the ones on top bunk). It has held up relatively well, with exception of a small crack on foot bed portion when leaned on too hard). I have also had to reiterate that it is not a jungle gym, so the kids have not been too rough with it (definitely no hanging off of the top bunk).
Sturdy bunk beds. They take a while to put together. The ladder is a bit narrow to get up and down. And the bottom bunch is slightly smaller than a twin mattress so the mattress doesn’t fit in the frame. It sit on the edge on one side.
My daughter loves this bed! It was easy to install and it very durable. Her room isn't the biggest but it does not seem bulky nor does it take up a lot of space. I am very pleased with this wood twin over twin bunk bed. We even put plastic bins underneath for extra storage.
Bought this bed set for granddaughters and it is working well. Solid bed. I am using them as twin beds instead of bunk bed because both girls want the top of course.
Bought for my 3 yr old grandson who is getting a baby sister this coming Spring, so I thought bunk beds would be a great sleeping solution when they come to visit! The 3 yr old has time to adjust sleeping on bottom bunk until he is old enough to move to the top bunk. By then baby sister will be old enough to take the bottom bunk!!! I assembled them myself and my husband helped lift to stack them. Simple instructions and great customer service when I needed a damaged board replaced. They are extremely sturdy! I would highly recommend if needing bunk beds for children.
This is a nice, sturdy bunk bed set. ( I wouldn’t pUt adults on it though. Assembly was not very easy & requires you to lift the one assembled bed onto the top of the other. It is more cream than white. It worked well in our space & the grandkids love it
I bought this bed for my daughter and baby to be once she is older. My daughter love it! It arrived couple days early then mentioned while placing order. Complete bed came in one box packing, initially I was suspicious if it had all parts. It was easy to assemble. It is sturdy and looks cute. Best thing I like about it is weight capacity of both bunk bed of 250 pounds. I even climbed on top to make sure it’s sturdy enough for a person. Another thing I like about bed is once u take out the stairs connection, it’s easy to put two beds separate in future. The nuts and screws were exact number as needed, I wish they could have send some extra just incase. As one of the screw we had got stripped but we managed somehow. Overall it’s nice bed, I highly recommend it!
