my grand daughter loves it...assembly was fine I had to send for a piece that broke while assembling it and received it in a couple of days with no hassle from the company ...great set

The build quality and ease of putting the bed together is decent. As someone else mentioned, there were oil hand prints over all of the wood.

I bought this for when my granddaughters visit. I'm very happy with this purchase. It took my husband and I about five hours to assemble. I love how sturdy the stairs/storage bins are. There's tons of room in the bins for extra linens, blankets and pillows. I highly recommend this bunk bed.

Very satisified and was easy to put together. It is also made out of real wood not that veneer pressed sawdust that you see in alot of other furniture.

This is a great bunk bed set.. Saves lots of space in our guest room and has lots of storage .. Perfect combination and looks great!!

We purchased the beds as we were hoping to give our girls their own beds so they would not have to share one. (also an incentive for our new move to a new city) The Beds took us about 2.5 hours to put together, we did them in stages. Doing the bottom bed first, then the top bunk last with the stairs. Will start with only complaint as everything else is good. There is no panel, or board to cover the slats from underneath the bunk. So our daughters look up and see a mattress and boards. (had one cut at the Lowe's near to us, and painting it girlish, and then placing underneath the mattress) When bunk bed is on top of the bottom bed, there is really no place to sit up in bed. My girls are 5 and 6 and really don't have any room to sit up, in another year for them it won't be possible. So, the only thing you can do in the bottom bed is sleep, or lay down. (they both prefer the top bunk because of this issue, currently rotating nights up and down beds) It is sturdy and strong, steel dowels for extra support of the top bunk to not shift. That made a Dad happy as I was going to get extra support to ensure the top bunk would not shift, these steel dowels are long and thick and do the trick. Overall it was an easy process to put together, just takes a bit of time. We did it on a Saturday morning. There are not any drawers under the stairs, rather just an open storage space. Don't expect to be pulling out drawers from the stairs, the door only opens to allow you to put something in that step space.The drawers under the bed, are not on a rail, rather come with Wheels...and sit on the ground. So when you pull it out, the drawers basically just roll out toward you. It works, not the best but was probably made this way to make it easier to put together. (first step is to actually put up the wood blocks on the bottom rail, you don't know why until you finish the bed and the last piece is to build the drawers. The wood blocks stop the drawer from going under the bed too far)

My little boy sleeps in this on top. He loves it. I really like the storage in the stairs. I wheel all his big vehicles into them so neither he nor I trip over them in the night. I would definitely recommend this bed.

I am looking for bulk bed that children love. With the drawer as stair, kids absolute love going up and down with the bed. The color is excellent. However, it does occupy larger space than regular bulk bed. Make sure your room is big enough.

Opened 1 box and it is very poorly made! Fingerprints all over the front draw faces, discoloration of the wood, lots of "pitting" in the wood and uneven wood. I understand this is an inexpensive purchase but the quality is very bad. Returning this item.

Remember this is made in Vietnam - like the majority of modular furniture in the US market these days, so do not expect anything high end. Firstly, delivery was prompt and within the given time frame. The driver from the freight company called ahead to schedule delivery. This bed comes in 4 large boxes. Most painful part of the assembly was opening up the boxes and taking the heavy wood pieces up a flight of stairs. Make sure you open boxes as they are labeled (1 through 4). I am still figuring out what to do with the extra wood slats the driver left behind. Assembly instructions are OK. Many of the wood pieces were not marked so there was a lot of guesswork based on illustrations that I had to do to put this together. You absolutely need power tools but be careful to not set the torque too high on your power drill otherwise you will definitely strip the bolts and over tighten the wood screws. Be prepared for a minimum of 4-5 hours of assembly time (one person) and you will definitely need a second able-bodied person to lift the assembled beds to place on top of each other. The drawers were the worst part of the assembly – not in terms of time but CHEAP wood QUALITY. Do not expect to store anything heavy in them. They DO NOT have any sliding rails on the sides – instead have cheap plastic wheels at the bottom on which they roll. For $*, I guess this was OK!!

My toddler adores this bed. It feels sturdy and well- made. It looks adorable in her bedroom. Neither my husband nor I are very good at assembly, but we managed to get this done on a Saturday afternoon. To us, it was definitely worth the expense.

Super solid, easy to assemble because the directions are clear and organized. This bed has a ton of storage and looks really great when it is all put together. If your looking for a bunk bed this is a great purchase.

Came from Vietnam via freight. Took me about 5 hours to put together by myself. Not too bad. All parts came undamaged. Also was delivered quickly after purchase in less than 1 week.

I bought this bed for my 4 year old toddler and its just perfect for him. However, as mentioned in the previous reviews, the full size bed does run a little bigger than the standard full size mattress. Apart from that, love the extra storage compartments! Each storage compartment is huge!!! Its also pretty easy to assemble, but it does require two people. Overall, great product and definitely worth the value.

We just put this bed together and although it came with a few damaged or broken parts (I am contacting customer service about this now), we were still able to put it together. We assumed this type of bunk bed would come with a plywood platform to put the mattresses on, but it doesn't. So now we need to buy a box spring or plywood platform, but other than that. we are happy with the construction of the bed, and my daughter is thrilled to sleep in it.

It was a pain to set up. The instructions weren't clear and it was missing couple screws. The hinges were on backwards so it took a while to figure it out. Bed itself wasn't bad after it was set up.

This is a beautiful bed in pictures and in person. There are a few things I wish I would have known prior to purchasing: The full size mattress for this bed should be true to size: 54" wide x 75.5" long. We purchased a Sealy from Costco and it was only 51" wide which left a large gap. We returned the bed and found another mattress that was 53". Still leaves a gap but it's OK. Also, the planks that hold up the bed are sturdy but we will be purchasing a large, thin piece of plywood and painting it white to place under the twin mattress. When you sit on the full size bed and look up it's not the most appealing to see the underside of the twin mattress with 7-8 planks. The lower storage compartment doesn't open. It's for looks only. Only the top three drawers open. The two horizontal drawers underneath the bed are on rollers and won't open easily if you have a carpet in front (like we do). I still give the bunk bed 5 stars...just want share information that isn't available online.
