We put these planks down in our basement and are happy with the outcome. The finished product looks really nice and adds a lot of warmth to the room (the attached picture is before we added baseboard molding and furniture). The adhesive on the planks works pretty well, but there are some corners/edges that have started to come up since we put down the floor a few weeks ago. That might be because of humidity in the basement. We plan to use another type of glue to reinforce those spots. If you're putting this down on a concrete floor, be sure to clean the floor really well beforehand to get rid of any dust and dirt that will interfere with the stickiness. We also used a primer on the floor first that was specifically made for applying adhesive vinyl.
The Achim Tivoli Silver Spruce Self Adhesive Vinyl Floor Planks were super easy to Install by myself. The instructions included were easy to follow, and My kitchen Now looks Amazing!
These vinyl planks look great and are easy to install. The adhesive on the planks is very good, and I did not have to add any other adhesive. Also, this product is easy to cut.
We used this in high traffic common rooms of large apartment complex. Definitely has held up to trash stains, grease, foot traffic, and wheels of trash carts. With normal cleaning, it looks brand new every time . The flooring is very thin so you would need to have smooth substrate underneath. It's also easy to cut with utility knife. There's a slight sheen to the material. Kind of metallic. Not bad but it doesn't show well on the image so you may want to consider this. The variation in the material is really nice too. Doesn't look cheap in large areas. Like most vinyl flooring, this product does not look like real wood and you would be disappointed if that is what you're looking for. Instead, expect a nice low maintenance flooring with lightly textured surface. Very comfortable to walk on and very durable. Good for those secondary areas like laundry rooms, utility rooms, home office ...
I just redid my 10 year old sons room and wanted to do something different and add a focal point wall. So I did some research and came across this brand. The wall is awesome I wanted the plank look and that's exactly how it looks it's multi dimensional which makes it look that more amazing!!! I'm very happy. We did have to add some adhesive to a few planks but I'd highly recommend 💯 📐🛌
I ordered to stick to my bathroom wall as an accent wall. You must use carpet tacks to affix to the wall but I simply love the results. I do not know how it sticks to the floor. I am sure gravity helps it.
COST - Low price, I also found this locally at big box store, comparable cost COLOR - a Dark, popular color. Neutral in matching existing decor there are both silver and brown streaks - which allows easy blending with grey OR brown schemes. SHEEN - moderate sheen and this is only reason this doesn’t look high end. But I don’t mind it. It is not a bad look. QUALITY - Likely not suited well to moderate traffic &/or large young dogs digging in their nails as they romp around. I recommend it for light residential use. INSTALLATION- on concrete slab - Was easy to install but as with most inexpensive items the prep can make or break the job. I’m usually very particular but on this job I only applied myself moderately to the filling/smoothing. It’s a good job but I have a few areas where I’m not happy with the outcome but it’s at a level where most people would be very satisfied. Get your floor smooth and then very clean. This product has a moderate sheen and will show hump/lumps in a tented appearance (tomorrow you will notice it) - also these areas will wear faster (where desk chair wheels are rolling over). Fill large indentions/gouges as item will lift/wont stick if plank edge falls at/on a gouge. I found this a day later at concrete edge at sliding glass door. Otherwise it sticks well - I mopped my floors until the mop water looked clear (on this I was particular and it paid off sticking easily/well. There are arrows on the peel away backing to guide you with installing all planks the same direction. Its a bit in the mental dept keeping track of the direction and creating the desirable ‘non-repetitive appearance’ because of having to look at back and front before laying. There are knots in the wood-look that can repeat in a non-pleasant way so I did not lay them right from the box. I accidentally laid some the opposite direction of the arrow guides (which is not ideal but NOT noticeable 99% of the time) - it creates gaps - more on the shorter sides/ends of the planks. I’m happy with this item
Definitely one of the easiest floors I have ever installed (and I have installed many over the years). Worth every penny and looks fantastic! I was able to install it directly over the old peel and stick tile and other than a few minor areas which I levelled before installing, the Tivoli tile went down like a dream. I highly recommend this flooring to anyone for any purpose. It was delivered within a few days of ordering as well which impressed me very much.
I bought this peel and stick flooring to over my old linoleum floors in a great room and kitchen. I did not want to remove the old flooring. I bought 38 boxes for a great price of **.** a box and covered up my old floors. I used floor leveling compound to patch holes in the old floor before putting on the planks. I also scrubbed the old floor clean before sticking the need floor on. I was able to update my floors in one day. I would recommend this product. The floor looks like expensive wood from afar. It does have a grain so it is not slippery under your feet even when it gets feet from muddy dog feet ( I have 3 large dogs). It does not show any scratches from my dogs running paws on it.
For self adhesive planks they actually look very good. They have a nice wood grain texture added that most of the other brands don't. I went with a click and lock but this is the one I would have purchased if I had decided on the self stick style.
We used this in our small laundry room. We installed directly to our plywood subfloor although the directions say you can install over some existing flooring. There was some prep work to make sure the floor was level and all screws or nails were sealed with caulk but laying the planks was very easy. To trim pieces for the edges it was easy to use a utility knife to score the plank and then a simple bend and snap would break the plank at just the right length. I used a multi-tool for some cuts that were more involved. The finished product looks great. The color is dark and a little shiny. The grey color is multi-dimensional and you can see blues and browns in it. On my screen the image looks true to life.
We put this flooring in the garage. It sticks VERY well and it looks very nice. It was easy to install and certainly easy to clean. It has a high sheen to it with hints of silver and gold metalic dusting. The wood grain looks real and is a mix of brown and gray tones. We have real hardwood floors inside the house and of course this vinyl is no substitution for the real deal- BUT, it certainly is a great quality- very pliable and strong and comes HIGHLY recommended from our household!
The floor is easy to install, and it looks great.
I installed these in a small foyer and they look really nice. The trickiest part of installation is that the surface must be flat and free of any type of debris. I needed to use some vinyl crack filler (caulk) to get the surface right because I uninstalled over very old ceramic tiles. The results are amazing. It's been a few months now and then show no wear. Great product.
Floor does not last even in low traffic areas. These adhesive planks look pretty and are easy to lay. Hkwever, they do not last. I have laid two layers of these because the warranty covered the color fade and the manufacturer replaced them. That means I had to lay the flooring a second time after only a few months. The replacement planks are no better. They fade and shift easily. I cannot recommend these flooring planks. They look and sound easy and appear to be a cheap way to a beautiful floor, but they will cost more in the long run to replace every year. I have purchase a different flooring and have a third flooring project to do now since these planks are not up to standard. I hate the thought of more labor and expense to get my floor looking good. Save yourself the trouble. I wish I could at least get my money back for these.
Flooring is a easy and wonderful solution for old flooring. Very easy to work with and looks great.
They look great if you take your time and match the grain in the planks. One thing to note, the stick is only good if you lay it down "once". if it comes up for any reason like you made a mistake and had to move it. Even if you do this immediately it seems the stick just isn't the same.
We purchased this flooring for our son’s room. Installation was easy! Easy to cut with box cutter. We found that we got better results with adhesion to floor when adding a little spray adhesive prior to applying to floor.
These are beautiful planks. I bought these to use on the backside of an old cheap bookcase. It definitely made it look a lot better. The only problem I found was that they don’t stick very well. I had to use additional glue to make them stick. I can see how this would be challenging for someone using these on their walls.
I love the colors in this flooring. It is very easy to put down. Doesn't take long to lay it down. It sticks very well. Water beads up on it if spilled on. Great for the do it yourselfers. I would recommend this flooring to anyone.
