Well made pad. Put it under the 5 x7 rug in our spare bedroom for a little extra cushion near the bed. Would look for this brand in the future. We used it under a rug on a hardwood floor. Works perfectly and no slide.

Read MoreI always use pads with area rugs
Read Moremuch better than the thin (see through) ones, however be sure you have enough space as it is at least 1/4 inch thick and may go under doors.
Read MoreThis is my go to rug pad. Soft cushion and seems to grip the hardwoods floor for stability. Rugs mostly stay in place.
Read MoreThe pad is on a hardwood floor, felt side up, rubber side down. The rug is rubber backed and used to protect the hardwood from a desk chair. The pad stays in place just fine. The problem is the rug moves on the pad.
Read MoreUsed this under my loomed rug and it was just the perfect weight. I did need to cut off the corners since my rug was octagon, but it was easy to do.
Read MoreI ordered this for a 3X3' rug on my hardwood stairs landing. It holds the rug securely. It is thin enough to trim to size with household scissors.
Read MoreFits well under 4' square rug. Perfect pad.
Read MoreI actually used the 4x4 pad for 3 smaller rugs on slick surfaces, that were slipping. It was a little difficult to cut but worked well for two small bathroom rugs and one entry way rug. For getting three pads out of it, I can't complain.
Read MoreHave never used a felt pad for an area rug, but it works well and seems to be standing up well. It's rubberized so it stays put under a four foot rug and seemed easier to place than the standard poly type that bunches up when you first try to put it down under the rug.
Read MoreWorks nicely. Thick enough to hold rugs in place. Provides a sturdy grip. Excellent and easy shipping.
Read MoreThis pad is thicker, which works well for me at the foot of a bed. It would be too thick to use near a swinging door.
Read MoreLovely product. Came quickly and as described. Provides padding and is non-slip, which is great on my hardwood floors. Size was correct. Overall, very happy with this product.
Read MoreThe size is good but would like a thicker pad. Much prefer the durable hard surface carpet pad.
Read Morerubber coated on one side makes it perfect for hardwood floors
Read MoreIt was exactly what I needed, and a great price. It's an unusual size, too, so I was happy to find it!
Read Moredoes what it says and i will be ordering another. I put it under a denium rug i made, it has kept it in place on the vinyel flooring in my 8 year old room so that how i know its doing it job.
Read More... but this is still a good product because the extra cushioning alone is superior to most rug pads and that makes my inexpensive runner feel more luxurious. I bought this to use on my runner in the kitchen and planned to cut it to fit & piece together (runner is 2 X 6) -- I wanted this rug pad after all the reviews and because I was also buying the larger size for using on a rug-on-top-of-carpet. This is designed to work on hard surfaces as well as carpeted surfaces. But, while the rubber side of the pad grips the kitchen tile beautifully, the "felted" side of this pad is not grabbing the rug well and I discovered that it is because my runner has a thin rubber backing on it. It's a heavy traffic area with 2 dogs and 2 humans going in and out so the rug was shifting around -- the pad was staying put but the runner was shifting on top of it. I had previously tried a standard rubber rug pad under the runner and that was much worse, and of course the runner by itself on the tile was the worst of all, even with a rubber backing! So I'm sticking with this -- the solution was to cut the rug pad about an inch smaller than the runner all the way around and adhere the 4 corners of the rug to the tile with a little hidden duct tape. Rug stays put and feels thick so I'm happy.
