This is a photo printed on canvas and lacks texture and depth and in some places, is grainy when looking up close. I hung mine in a stairway landing that leads from the main living area down to the attached garage. There is no natural light and it's a small space so the quality of the image isn't very important. It provides a nice, calm feeling of walking towards the beach when we're heading off to work!

I was somewhat concerned about color after reading what a few reviews said but ordered "Sunrise Over Hatteras" anyway, knowing we could return it if dissatisfied. No worries! Yes, there are pale orange/amber tones at the top, but that's what sunset colors are! Yes, if one examines a particular portion of the shaded sand dune, it does have some blue/green hues, but it looks like the shadow it is. The colors blend beautifully with the pale yellow-gold and gray-greens in the room. We searched long and hard for a vertical beach scene that looks like Virginia Beach, and this one (36" X 48") is perfect over our fireplace. We love it in our dressy beach condo!

For the price it was fine, but I didn't think it would be so orange, and the sides are not sealed tight, but the picture is very pretty.

Like it but I expected the beach being more gray color instead of a green/blue tone.
