While the South Shore Gravity furniture is very aesthetically pleasing, they are really a piece of *** bottoms slip out – this literately happens daily! This furniture is lower quality than *** and I do not suggest purchasing it.
Read MoreFits right in with the rest of my bedroom. Drawers are a little small so not good for heavy items.
Read MoreHad help putting this dresser together, but the shelves have repeatedly fallen apart at least two dozen times for the three months I have had it. I have tried using crazy glue, but that has not been strong enough to hold the pieces together. I am forced to get new pieces for the drawers. The bottoms of the shelves are not strong enough to hold clothing. I don't recommend that anyone purchase it, and hope that the manufacturers work to reinforce the strength of the shelves.
Read MoreThe dresser (and matching nightstands) look pretty nice and are functional, but there are a couple things I don't like: 1) It was hard to put together. There are parts of it that you have to screw directly into particle board/wood (depends on the piece) without guide holes. It makes some of the corners/edges not as straight as I would like them. 2) The outside of it is essentially wallpaper that is put on it, so there are some edges of the paper that weren't quite glued down. 3) The drawers aren't very deep. They're functional but they aren't as high as the front of the drawer would lead you to believe, the inside sides of the drawers only go up about 3/4 of the height of the drawer. Overall, good for the price. Not a forever piece.
Read MoreThis is a great piece of furniture! Sturdy, sleek, and a beautiful color. Highly recommend
Read MoreNice cabinet, but make sure you have wood glue on the drawers not very sturdy otherwise but I glued up all side and it good to go!
Read MoreI love the look of this dresser. The color is perfect and exactly the style I wanted. Came exactly as seen in photo. However, after assembling the dresser, it seems to be very wobbly still. I went through the dresser and made sure to tighten every screw again just to be sure. Yet, the dresser very clearly sways back and forth if you give it a little push. I have it up next to a wall so that prevents it from moving so much, but I really wish this was a more sturdy dresser. I am hoping if I go by some kind of hardware piece from Lowes or something, it may hopefully stop it from moving so much. Will have to give it a shot and see if I can fix the problem myself somehow.
Read MoreThis dresser was a good buy, however it did take quite a long time to put together. If you have the time and patience to put it together, then I would say its worth the purchase
Read MoreIt is all particleboard with paper overlay. No veeneer wood. If I had known , I would not have purchased it. Regretfully I needed it right then and could not return it. Putting it together did take time. It was my 4th item from South Shore so I was able to do it quickly.
Read MoreI'll reiterate what Meg said in her review. The dresser is of a fine quality and once completely put together is quite fetching. I'm very adept at assembling flat-packed furniture and it took me a solid two hours without breaks. Some of the pieces were also scraped or damaged in transit, but they do give you a black pen to cover them up, so be forewarned. The biggest issue was that the screws for the handles are too long respective to the thickness of the wood. I had to go to Home Depot to get #8 sized washers to fill in the extra space. That did the trick though and I'm quite happy with the dresser. I would just be aware that you'll need to give this dresser a little extra TLC to make it perfect.
Read MoreBe prepared to spend several hours building every component of this dresser. The good news is that the instructions are very accurate and each individual piece is of pretty good quality. The bad news - it takes a long time to assemble. It says not to use a drill, but I found it sped things along a lot more quickly to use it.
