Very aesthetically pleasing table, sturdy, perfect family table.

This is a top quality table for an excellent price. Very easy to assemble. Nice finish. Corners and joints meet perfectly. Couldn't ask for more. Lots of uses for it - desk, projects, dining - or - cut off the legs for a computer table or even a coffee table.

I looked for a long time trying to find a base for a table to fit in my 8 x 10 space so I could put a glass top (cut to size I wanted) on top. All of them were too high. Why is 29" the only choice for height? Finally I found the Sorrento, which has square legs that CAN be cut off to have a table height of only 26 or 27 inches, so when I use a computer or write on the table, my arms are not so high that my shoulder is out of joint and strained. Also because I am only 5'2", when I sit at a 30" tall table, my head is so close to the bowl of soup, I feel like I could just bend my head over and lap it up like a dog. Okay, now you have had your laugh for the day...this review is for all of you that want a table you can remodel to computer friendly height and proudly sit up straight above the food when you are eating.

I am SO thrilled with this table. I've looked around for a nice, quality dining table quite a bit and this is perfect! It's heavy duty, solid, looks EXPENSIVE, and is very well made. Assembly was EASY!!! Love this table! Price point was so good too. I'd definitely recommend.

Great price, high end feel.

We tried to other tables from other companies First first that did not meet our quality expectations and were delivered damaged. This table was delivered quickly and in perfect condition. It turned out to be a good thing that we didn't keep the others because this table was exactly what we were looking for.

The assembly took me around 30 minutes by myself and consisted of putting the legs on the table. It was very easy and everything you meed for assembly is included. I used my electric drill but that is not required. The table is very well made. The legs attach standard furniture way. Everything fit and the table looks marvelous. I thought it was an excellent value and am very pleased.

You won't be disappointed with this table. It is well made, very sturdy and couldn't be easier to assemble. I had it together in 10 minutes. I was afraid that for the price it would be a lightweight table that might now hold up with use. But this table will be able to withstand use for a long time. Could probably dance on it, but I'll pass on that idea. I did not purchase the chairs so I cannot comment on them.

A sturdy table with a timeless, modern look that was perfect for our breakfast nook. Would buy it again, especially at this price.

Well made, sturdy table. Very heavy for its size, so I know it really is made of wood. The only negative is that the color is much more mahogany than the picture shows. I ordered the very chairs that are in the picture and they clash with the table's mahogany finish, so that means I'll be replacing it. Update 6 wks later: This morning my table was covered in something that looked like ants. No matter what I did, they kept on coming, eventually I realized that they were coming from the wood part of the table that weren't treated. Absolutely disgusting.... after spending 12 hrs trying to get rid of whatever those critters were, I ended up taking the table to the dump because I was afraid that these critters will spread to the rest of my wood pieces. Very very disappointing and wasted a lot of money.

A solid table for my office conference room..arrived undamaged and very sturdy

It's what I hoped it would be. It was possible for me, an only moderately strong woman in her 40s, to move both boxes on my own. Putting it together was easy enough, although the tool that they include in the package is cheap and weak, and you'll want a ratchet or something to really put it together so that it doesn't wobble. And it's pretty. It looks just like the photo.

I bought 2 of these. I can arrange a large square for 8+ or place them end to end and seat even more people. They are sturdy and have held up to many large family dinners.
