Beautiful and sturdy statement piece The bed is stunning. Very sturdy. I got the king size bed in the chrome metal finish with the dark grey linen headboard. Came in two boxes -- the headboard in one and all the metal beams and hardware in another. Took my husband and I about two hours to put together completely. I'm not sure why most of the reviews on here complain that this was difficult to put together, or time consuming to put together or frustrating to put together. I found none of that to be true. You definitely need two people for assembly, just to make things easier. But honestly from start to finish, this was less than two hours of work (some of that time included vacuuming and cleaning where the old bed used to be). The instructions were actually clearly written. All metal pieces were labeled with a sticker with a letter on them to match to the letters given in the directions -- so you literally connect part A to part B and so forth. The pieces are held together with Allen type screws, so you need to use the little L shaped device they give you in the box to screw them, or if you have an Allen screw set in your tool box, use that instead. Not sure why everyone is complaining about the screws being difficult to deal with. If you like this bed, get it, you won't have any problems putting it together. I am not particularly well versed in furniture assembly and this was totally manageable.

Amazing bed Few other people sell this bed, including Z Gallerie but for 3x the price. The bed is awesome. It looks great, and much more expensive than it is. Wait for the price to drop if you can. We kept our eye on it for a few months and got it in the *** .

Stunning but w/ outrageous amt of work to assemble There are 51 screws to install, and 30 of them took an absurd amount of time and blind precision to accomplish. .My handy husband put the beast together and, once completed, stated that if we ever move, he is leaving this bed behind because it is just too much work to ever deal with again. However, it looks fabulous and seems sturdy.

BEAUTIFUL BED + STURDY I ORDERED THIS IN THE GOLD KING. I hired 2 guys to put it together and it took them 2 hours. The bed shines just like in the pictures. Be aware there is a champagne gold. I am not talking about that "gold". Just the "Gold". I paired it with mirrored nightstands and dresser and to say my room looks glamourous would be correct. I grew up in Los Angeles, so... The same bed is listed on Beverly Blvd in Beverly Hills for $2900. It is the EXACT made in China bed. I know, I know..But, don't let them lie to ya. I went in and investigated myself. Buy the bed. My 6ft 4' medium build boyfriend can't shake it, for those wondering about that like I was. I kept him around long enough to find out. The bed stayed, though. :) If you are wavering between wanting the gold bed, but, feeling like the chrome was more "safe, GO FOR THE GOLD. It's sooo luxurious and gorgeous, I can't believe I even hesitated. Oh, and you ABSOLUTELY can have it REupholstered if it is cheaper in the silly orange Moroccan, or if your size is not available in the color you want(unlike the Great Offer Stock employee says you can't). I was stalking this bed for months The bed is gorgeous in person. Its definitely a princess bed. I wake up smiling! The bed is pretty sturdy and for a good price.. I got it for 651... I put the bed together all by my lonesome. It took about 3 hours. I do feel as though the directions could be more detailed. Install the bed in the upwards position most people do not have the clearance to turn the bed around with lower ceilings.

I have the rose gold frame and the tufted material portion is not white. It's more off-white/"natural" in color. I don't think it'd pair well with white, to be honest. All of my sheets and accents are natural and I went with a slate duvet cover with fur accent pillows.
