It was difficult to find rocking chairs that aren't incredibly rustic/country. And while that aesthetic is perfectly nice, it wasn't what I was going for on my porch. I found these chairs and was pretty excited to have a more modern feel while being able to enjoy the classic undulation of a rocking chair. I actually bought two sets, for a total of 4 chairs and 2 tables.
Pros
Very affordable. Almost all of the other chairs I had seen were $200 or more for one. I believe I ended up getting these 4 chairs and 2 tables for about $380.
Cons
Shipping - The packages arrived really beat up. I'm not sure if that should be accredited to UPS or how they were packed, but either way, it wasn't great.
Assembly - Some of the pieces didn't fit well. For example, one of my chairs just doesn't have the bar underneath the seat, and another doesn't have a bar across the back, because we couldn't get it to line up to attach. There are black rubber pieces ("stoppers" is the word I want to use but I am not sure that's accurate!) for the front and the back of the curved legs and some chairs came without them and some have them stuck way up in the hollow leg (is it a leg? Whatever you rock on!). For now, they still feel fine, but I worry that the fabric seats will wear and tear quickly without the bar support.
I am not planning on these lasting me more than a couple years, but the price was right and they look decent. You get what you pay for on these.
