"Can you cut on top of this butcher block?"
It looked great when I finally finished getting it together. The instructions were a real challenge and some of the joints required convincing to get them to fit properly. But all-in-all I really like this cart

Beautiful cart! It arrived on the day as noted in the order. Took me and my wife approximate 2 hour to assemble the cart. Once it was assembled, it was very sturdy and had the elegant look. It was a welcome to my small kitchen. I liked the amount of storage space it has. I would definitely recommend to anyone who need a kitchen cart. (l love the thickness top look of cart!!!)

Love having more storage in my kitchen! No buyers remorse! (which usually happens to me)...I don't have enough cabinet space so every little bit helps. Nice to be able to move it. Had friends over and used it like a bar. Was worth the money.

Simple Living Monterey White Ketchen Cart It is a beautiful addition in our home ketchen. It arrives quickly. The ketchen table is nicely made and it is sturdy. The assembly instruction is easy to understand, you can put the whole thing together fairly quickly. Definitely will recommend to friend.

disappointed shopper I was excited to receive this item to add additional counter space in my kitchen. However, after I started opening the box I noticed that the insides of what will be the drawers were scuffed up. I didn't think much of this since they will be inside the drawer and no one will see. However, when I pulled out the cabinet front and the drawer fronts, they are dirty and gray in color. It is almost as if the final coat of pain was never applied. I looked into returning the item but it will cost $*in shipping and the box weighs over 100lbs so there is no way that I will be able to do that by myself. I will see if I can try to paint the cabinet so it will actually have a finished look and so I will be able to use it in my kitchen. Otherwise this kitchen cart will just sit in my basement storage area where no one can see it. Very disappointed in this item!

Assembly instructions missing 4/9 steps We ordered this cart and were 30 minutes into the assembly process when we realized the 9 step instructions were missing steps 3,4, 7, and 8. I called overstocks 800 number and was told they would email the missing pages to me in 1-2 business days and there was nothing more they could do. Pretty frustrating when the cart is in 100 pieces spread all over our living room. We'll be buying from brick and mortar stores from now on so we don't have to wait for days to get an answer when something goes wrong.

Why is everything made in China & smells bad? This comes under the heading of "you get what you pay for". This is inexpensive, and I'm sure it's because it was manufactured in China. The cart looks nice, but the wood is very thin. Nobody is going to mistake it for good quality furniture. The main problem with it, though, is the smell, or I should say, smells. It had a really strong chemical smell at first, which has dissipated, but makes me wonder what kind of chemicals were used in the manufacture. Formaldehyde, perhaps? Second, this has a strong odor of mildew and I don't know how I'm going to get rid of that. That could be from the cheap wood that was used, or perhaps it was a warehouse problem. Having said that, it does look nice and my daughter and son-in-law didn't have many issues assembling it. However, they are both quite handy. I don't know how the delivery person got the box onto our front porch, because it was very heavy. So, no way I can return it. I will keep trying to find a way to get rid of the mildew smell. I would not recommend this product.

It didn't take terribly long, but we ran into some issues that required us to get additional cam-locks and use a hacksaw. I would research other carts if you do not have a solid 2-3 hours to put this together.
