    It comes from the top but there are zip ties provided to run it down one of the sides so it's not visible.

    It comes out of the top section. There are little zip ties you can use to secure it to the back of one of the little poles, but they're not really sufficient. I used an extra one I had, but it's still fairly visible. Not a huge deal, though.

    Yes, the cord exits the lamp housing near the pull chain and there is a small curve showing as it is trimmed to the vertical 1" of your choosing. There is pleanty of cord to reach an outlet and if you have an outlet with variable intensity it is very pleasant for ambient room lighting :-)

    The power cord runs down the outside of the leg. It can easily be attached to the leg with zip ties or other crafty ideas, to help keep the cord hidden.
