Color in online photo does not match actual color
I had searched for other colors of sectionals besides the usual black and dark brown, so was excited to see Overstock's offer, titled, "Caramel Sectional". The definition of the color Caramel, to me, and the dictionary, means a creamy light beige/tan with touch of yellow. The online picture of the Caramel Sectional fits that definition. The sectional we received is definitely a medium brown with flecks of black. The boxes say Brown, and in small print in Overstock's product description, it says the color was Brown, but I just took the Caramel color in the main title for granted and didn't think there would be such a big difference in their interpretation of Brown vs Caramel. So, buyers beware of the color difference. We bought new carpet and curtains in anticipation of our caramel sectional, so now things need to be adjusted. To Overstock's credit, they did explore my concern, and did check all the ordering information vs the warehouse numbers, and the sectional that was sent was correct. They did offer to take back the sectional, and split the return shipping with me, but I had waited a month to get it, and with back to back company for the summer, I can't be without a sectional.
I have always been leery of buying big ticket items online, especially where color makes the difference, and now have surely learned my lesson. Great Offer Stock needs to take Caramel out of the product's title. Otherwise, Great Offer Stock was great to work with.
