This rug pad works great. It was easy to customize by cutting w/ scissors to fit beneath my area rug. My rug does not slide with moderate use (we sit at the table 3-4 times a week).

If you want a thick cushion for your rug, this is not for you. I have area rugs and this rug pad works great. I can vacuum without the rug slip and sliding. Well worth the purchase.

This pad is a necessity to provide safety against slipping. I have porcelain tile floors through out the entire house except bedrooms. The pad prevents the rug from slidding on the floor. Great safety enhancement.
