It's been on our (uncovered) front patio 3 months now, and it's holding its own. Like other reviewers, we also note the top doesn't close completely when the rod intended to hold it open is installed, so we just removed the rod. Happy with this piece at this price point.

Nice size. Depth keeps it from being an issue on my front porch. My dogs love to tear into my packages ever since I subscribed to bark box. This has cured that issue. Chair is well built. Took about 30 minutes to assemble. Simple to do.

The wood seems like it might not hold up well outside, so I used spar urethane spray on the completed bench. I agree with the other reviewers that the slots make it too open to the elements for it to be completely exposed outdoors, as well as the bottom slats are very exposed to allow critters to enter. It looks great where I placed it, and it is only partially exposed to the elements.

Easy to put together and perfectopic for under our side door overhang

The bench went together easily; the fittings worked; and it's just what I hoped. I hate have the swimming pool hose lying around on the patio next to the pool. The slatted sides and bottom of this bench allow air to circulate, and it's a nice piece of furniture near the pool.

Lid doesn't close all the way otherwise it is a great accent piece and serves its purpose.

The bench looks good and was not difficult to put together. Note that the light wood is more "yellow" than "tan" in color. The only problem is that the lid will not close all the way---about 1/2" gap.

This bench is extremely nice. I assembled it by myself in a short period of time. I found the instructions to be not very detailed but the parts are self identifying. I did take off one star as the bench seat would not close completely. Perhaps in time the support shock will "loosen" a bit and this will self correct. It is close to closing completely maybe 1/4" or so. All in all I would say this is an excellent product!

The bench came quickly after ordering it. it was easy to put together, all parts were enclosed, ease instructions. It looks fantastic! The cats love it! We have two storage tubs underneath it to store recycling and dog food. it was EXACTLY what we wanted. It is good looking and functionalble.

The bench is very comfortable and easy on the eyes. The storage is a nice part of the bench but you would need to put a solid piece of something inside so that you things don't slip between the slats. But over all it is very nice.
