I was a little worried about it being to pink as that was part of the name, but it is absolutely beautiful. It does not have a rubber backing, this would be the only negative and I think I can get a rubber spray so spills will not go through.

My rug has deep pink around the edges. I love this rug... it has so many beautiful colors, it goes with everything in my living room/dining room area. Even if I change the color of my drapes, the variety of colors in the rug still goes with the drapes. This has been one of the best purchases I have ever made on line, I even purchased the runner that matches it. Very happy with this purchase, it is a very sturdy rug, nice large size and goes with everything. Wish I had found it long ago when I first moved into this house. The colors or beautiful, it reminds me of a Monet painting.

The pictures of the rug featured on this website are fairly accurate as far as the colors on the rug I received. There are some small areas that are predominately orange. Different shades of pink-- fuchsia to burgundy/wine. This is a rug of many colors, and remarkably with three dogs who spend a lot of time it, our rug does not readily show much dirt.

My rug had a little orange. But unlike the other person who wrote to you, mine definitely had some hot pink and some burgundy. I used mine in my art studio and because it was so bright and had so many multi colors, I was able to put colors together in the room that I would not ever have done so before and it is stunning. People who come in to my home are drawn to that room, and just want to look around at all the variations of colors and things on display! I hope this helped you. I fell in love with the rug and designed my studio around it!

My rug has a hot pink border. There is a bit of orange in the rug and I was afraid all the colors might be too bright but I think the colors are blended well. it really brightens up a room and can match a variety of colors/decor (green, yellow, burgundy, orange, pink).

I actually have 3 of this rug in various sizes... I did air them out on my porch before placing them. The only smell I noticed was that new rug smell for a few days and then it calmed down. The rugs are absolutely beautiful and give the room such character... not to mention they match so many colors and shades. Well worth the price!!!

I have a cat and also take care of my daughter's dog while she is at work. My rug is in my art studio, where I spend a lot of time. The pets like to be wherever I am. So far, It has withstood the wear and tear of them. But I am always with them in this room. This rug is a treasure to me and I built my art studio around it, because I loved it so much! So I don't let them sharpen their claws on it or things like that. I have scratching posts and a big burlap rug where all their toys are for that.

I usually presure wash my rugs outside in the summer, but leave them to drain and dry before put them back into the house. You can hose it with no problem. It will be wet however, you have to let it drain so it's not saturated with water when you walk on it. Has a little plush and is nice walking barefoot on it. Very beautiful rug...

I do not recommend using this fug outside. A screened-in porch or a sunroom, perhaps. It is not of the quality for outdoors in my opinion.

I think the burgundy couch would be fine with it. The colors would be great with teal. As far as the pink in the sofa, if it is a bold pink and bold print it could work, but not a pale pink or delicate floral. It does sound like a lot going on, but I have three of these rugs in a tv room with a gray sofa, vintage burgundy and pink patterned barkcloth drapes and painted furniture in a variety of shades if green, plus bold floral throw pillows and accessories.

That would be too much going on between the rug & the love seat. U have to balance the the rug out with solids because of all the color 'cubes'. The deep burgundy works. Any color as long as it's solid for the most part.

It's a pretty rug and good quality, but everything around it should be neutral. Right now I have it with a grey couch and with a white and then teal blue chair. I need to replace my patterned pillows on couch because it clashes - even with the small accent pillows. A floral couch wouldn't work. I wish I had chose another rug because it's the pretty bully in the room right now.

This is a beautiful rug, but would not go with what you are describing. I would get a solid color rug, maybe teal or beige to match the flowers in your love seat.

this is a true $*** carpet. it is not to be purchased if you are looking for plush/warmth...you wont get that for this amount. I do very much like this, the colors vary from bright to pales, it's a great look over the hardwood floors.

You will love the colors in this rug. There is some pink, but not a lot, more burgundy and purple. This rug has many colors and will go with many things. There are also greens. I do not feel the rug looks cheap. I am using it in my bedroom over a tile floor. Love this rug!!!!!!

Consider a deep magenta and deep pinks but many colors are here. Even cool grey, blue green. I was Leary but Love the carpet as it really brightens the room and never looks dirty. Using this in a high traffic area between kitchen and living room. I have stained concrete floors and this rug pulls everything together.

I did not find this rug to be "cheap." It certainly isn't plush, so put a good quality rug pad underneath. I have it over cherry hardwood with a grayish blue loveseat and good accents and it looks beautiful. The pink is bright - not a pale, powder pink. It's more leaning towards magenta. There is a little purple, mixed in with pink and lots of blue/ green and gold/yellow. Some orange, as well.

The colors are brighter. the hot pink gets blended-in with the 'darker' pinks, but no purple, at least not in mine. The carpet is really soft on your bare feet. I love this carpet. I liked it so much I bought it for the entry, family room and small hallway! It goes well with my color scheme.

The edging around the rug is pink and there is a fair amount of pink to magenta coloring throughout the rug. It does have some purple but that is not the predominant color. cp
