Amazing Rug! I LOVE this rug! It is every bit as soft and lush as it looks in the picture and the color is deep and rich. We positioned it one way in the living room and found that it kept bunching up in one corner, so we decided to rotate it 180 degrees and haven't had a problem since. I don't know what was causing the issue, but everything about this rug is perfect now.

Actually, it probably depends on the vacuum. I have a Hoover Windtunnel upright and because the shag is so long, pushing the vac forward is extremely difficult. I am young and in great shape too! My husband gave me the tip that I have to tilt the floor part of the vac upward off the floor (think of it as a pop-a-wheelie so it's just rolling on the 2 back wheels) when pushing forward and then lower it to all 4 wheels for the backward motion. That technique does work. I absolutely LOVE this rug and even though it's tough to move the vac back and forth, I would say that the pros of this rug far outweigh the vacuuming difficulty. As far as the rug getting clean with a vacuum... yes it does. I have a cat and dog and vacuuming regularly keeps it looking like new. If the buyer is older or has difficulty with the physical strength needed to vacuum this rug though, I would recommend buying a low-pile rug and not a shag.
