This is my first shag rug and I couldn't be happier. Very plush, does not shed. Color has grayish/ivory tint, so it is not white or cream, but still looks awesome. You can vacuum it, but set your vacuum on hardwood floor setting (turn off rotating brush). I bought this rug to freshen up my outdated grey sofas and this rug (with a few cream throw pillows) completely made over my living room.

Pretty rug but.... This rug is very pretty and seems to be holding up very well however, it's more of a shag rug than I thought and I can only vacuume it one way. You can't push -pull a sweeper over it unless you have a sweeper that has a super high setting.

Love my rug! I looked long and hard for a rug because it's hard to buy something like this without seeing and feeling it in the store. The reviews helped me pick this one so I hope my review helps someone else! This rug feels great! Not hard, pretty soft after you set it down and it gets some wear into it. It was hard to vacuum with my shark at first, but after it got broken in, it's easy to vacuum now. It's definitely not cheaply made. Love the quality and the style. We get compliments all the time and they ask where to get one. GREAT BUY!

Awesome shag rug We have had this rug for about a month and I LOVE it!! There is enough color variations in the white threads to camoflouge dirt, which is crucial. Also, the carpet strands are a great quality and haven't frayed like some other cheap shag rugs I have seen. It is so thick and comfy underfoot, we haven't even used the rug pad we bought to go under it!
