beautiful, but not quite as pictured this rug is quite lovely…color is true to photo, but the rug is much flatter than photo indicates. a few reviews compared it to rabbit fur; it is not at all like fur. the fibers are silky and smooth, but are more like the texture of drapery tassels rather than any fur. the pile is not high and there are areas where you can feel the knotting under bare feet. still, a very nice rug and worth the money. i was also really pleased that it vacuums beautiful; no thread catching or shedding. great piece.

Very soft rug with lots of texture This rug is just as it appears on-line. It is ivory, with slight gold undertones. It takes on the brightness of the room it is in, and appears a true ivory in a bright room, and a darker ivory in a darker room. The fibers go in different directions throughout the rug, giving the rug a very nice texture and character. Lastly, it is SO soft!

In love! I honestly thought I was going to have to return this product. A lot of people who own shag rugs told me I was going to have an issue with it shedding all over the place. Once I got it in, everything about it was perfect. It's super soft and fits right under my huge sectional. Every time I have people over they have to take their shoes off just to have a feel and the kids love to roll around in it. It also makes the room look a lot richer and cozy. I also recommended it to a friend about it and she got hers in a few days ago. If I ever need another shag rug, I will definitely buy the same one!

6 = Length 9 =Width. The formula is Length x Width. So if your couch is 9' in length this will be 3' too short for your needs. If it's 6' then it would line up exactly to the same length as your couch. A 10' x14' or a 12'x 15' would fit your needs. Hope this helps!

I would say absolutely but I just read the other review and they said they do it every other week. I have not vacuumed it but I do take off my shoes before getting on the rug and don't eat in my living room so I am very cautious with it. But rest assure it is GORGEOUS! I also have a runner version of it in my room and now my Mom wants a rug for her room because it is that beautiful! My niece loves to lay on it.
