Nice rug for the money I am using this rug under a queen bed and worried that too much of the medallion would be covered. It looks fine. Enough pattern shows to see all of the colors in the rug. I had a little shedding, but not more than I expected from a wool rug. This rug looks more expensive than it was, the colors are rich, and I have no reservation about recommending it. The sale price was excellent. One person mentioned a mauve color in the rug, but mine had a nice Terracotta instead of mauve, a mossy green that would work well with green or gray, and lovely jewel tones including dark navy blue, crimson and gold. Both khaki and cream add depth and contrast to the design.

Exceeded expectations I doubt that we could have found this rug in a local store for less than 4 times what we paid - if not more. The nap is dense and thick. The roll was quite heavy, the first clue that our expectations would be exceeded. This is a gorgeous carpet which no doubt will remain so for decades.
