Safavieh Handmade Antiquities Jewel Grey Blue/ Beige Wool Rug (12' x 15')

We really liked the look and weight of this rug when we enrolled it, but that's where our pros end. We would NOT recommend this rug or manufacturers to anyone! With a toddler that puts everything he can in his mouth, I'd roll this rug up and send it back if I still could. It sheds HORRIBLY. I vacuum it daily and go through a vacuum bag a week pretty much with all the fibers. There are also a lot of loops that are simply pulling up and out. We are very unhappy with this product and would have submitted a review sooner but we're waiting to see if the shedding would get better. It hasn't, in fact it is worse. Regretting our choice definitely.

We absolutely loved this rug; the appearance was perfect and it was a perfect size for our great room. Negative; this rug sheds...ALOT, the material "pills up" for lack of a better phrase. Although I love the appearance of the rug; the shedding is problematic and does get over our socks and the couch. We have vacuumed biweekly for the past 8 months and it still sheds.

The rug is exactly what I needed in terms of size, color, wool content. The price was right too!

This is a beautiful persian-style rug that looks like it could have come from Pottery Barn. It does shed, but I think all wool rugs do that, plus, for the price, it's worth it. It is thick and seems very sturdy. The colors are absolutely beautiful. It does looks a little lighter/more muted than the pic on my monitor, but that is a good thing, because I couldn't imagine it could be prettier!

bought the rug - needed the size and color. It was shedding from the beginning. Bassed on other reviews, thought it would stop shedding so I kept the rug. Waited too long to return within 30 days - thought it would stop shedding. Was told upon complaining that I waited too late, should not use a vacuum cleaner on it, it shoudl not shed, maybe my vacuum was too good, should only professionally clean - I own other rugs - cheaper and much more expensive - I vacuum them for regular maintenance. ???? Even it I do not vaccuum, it sheds just by walking on it. If you rub your hand back and forth on it, it sheds even more. In a minumte or two you can have over a tennis ball size of shedding in your hand. Paid over $$$, credit of $$$ given upon compaining. It is going in the garbage! RIP OFF

The color is a little darker than shown, but then again no two dye lots are ever the same anyways. My daughters and I love it. More than worth the price.

i needed a larger rug and this 12 x 15 was a great deal. the colors seem true to the picture which is a muted, silvery, steel blue. a very good rug at a very good price.

This rug is nice and soft and plush. We bought the "Superior hard surface carpet and rug pad" to go with it and the combo does NOT slip on the floor, and together it's really thick and comfortable. The colors in the picture were much darker than the actual rug is, in our opinion. The colors are much more muted. There is a reddish highlight color in it that's exactly the color of cherry hardwood floors.

We bought this rug for our family room and also got a matching 8' round rug for our game table and a matching long runner for the hall. The colors are sort of muted -- not loud -- and they all match perfectly. They are very thick & luxurious -- the 12x15 is so heavy it takes 2 men to handle it. They look beautiful on our newly installed hardwood floors. The first rugs we ordered from greatofferstock.com for this room did not match the Internet photo & Great Offer Stock was great about it. Beautiful rug! Since some reviewers had differing opinions of the color of this rug, I started with this and am using it to pull other colors into the room. It is a thick rug with muted shades of gray/blue, beige, green and ivory. There is some shedding, but to be expected for a wool rug. It is not a problem. I have a lot of furniture on it, but would recommend a pad if there is not enough weight to keep it in place. The rug is very big and heavy! I love the new look! This is my second rug from Great Offer Stock. Both times, the rugs were delivered quickly. They come well wrapped. I recommend shopping here!
