Ordered four of these chairs for my dining room. They were very well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. The legs are stored very nicely under the chairs as others pointed out. As far as color, they are an off-white just a tad on the vanilla side, fwiw. I ordered the Somette Round Glass Top Chrome Dining Table to go with these chairs and give my dining area a more modern look and they look great together.

Comfortable transitional style stairs First I want to mention that I value reviews over any company's self assessment of products. Therefore I would like to help out any future shoppers with details I would have appreciated. So let me address the color. I would say the color is an off white bone with a slight cream tinge. I have 'Greyson' barstools, which were also purchased through this website. Which were also described as off white, which are way more white. So these chairs are in close proximity to the bar stools and I felt it is a shade darker so it's acceptable. I almost wanted to return it but in some lighting it looks almost the same and it doesn't hurt the eyes. My walls are painted 1459 metro grey and moldings cc20 decorators white. The cabinets are very white. It's important to know this so you can assess before you chose to order. Also the leather is not shiny but I wouldn't describe it as Matt flat, it has a Lusture and gives off a slight glow. About the comfort, it's very comfortable feels decently padded. Just noting that the back of chair is about 36" tall, so you cannot lean your head back. Also, it looses abit of elegance however it works perfectly because it doesn't overwhelm the room. About setting up, the chairs came well packaged and the set up was not complicated. The legs are stored in the zipper pocket in back of the chair. My 15 year old son helped me. We didn't need any tools. Some reviewers said some chairs were wobbly and had to drill new holes. I had one out of 8 chairs I thought I would have to drill new holes, but I checked the height of the screw holes and leg holes and everything lined up. So I rechecked all the markings and in the end it lined up.

Classy and Elegant These chairs bring an elegant touch to our simple black dining table. They are really comfortable and fairly easy to put together (the legs are hidden in the zipped pouch beneath the chair.) One chair did came with a split in the wood which will eventually go back. It happens, and I would definitely buy these again. Very satisfied.
