Nice rug, but it's only 4 feet eight inches long, not five feet. Kind of important. Had to return
I had ordered another indoor/outdoor rug from Great Offer Stock that was outstanding in its quality. It was a densely looped tribal rug. I thought this one would be similar. However this one is more reminiscent of a woven grass door matt. The coloration is definitely not beige. It is more of a tan and navy blue, than the beige and powdery blue that is represented in the photo. If you are using this indoors on a hard wood or tiled surface, it is integral you use a anti-slip pad for it. I used a fast drying Fabric-Tac glue to adhere my anti-slip pad to the bottom-side of the rug. The material used to make this rug is understandably tough, and therefore, very stiff. It has been upwrapped 48 hours, and despite my folding/creasing the rug in opposite direction from how it was rolled, it is still wavy, and I imagine it would be even worse if I hadn't glued an anti-slip pad underneath it. I'm using this "rug" in the kitchen. The plus is the material seems pretty water proof, so it should hold up to any spills and drips, and can be wiped down. But really- this is more of a large matt than a "rug". And being such, I think it is slightly overpriced. I think this would make a better outdoor matt, than an indoor rug.
I'm using this rug as an indoor rug and I love it! I have a house full of pets so I only buy indoor/outdoor rugs because the expensive ones will get destroyed. This rug is great - the chevron design is fun and trendy. The rug can withstand lots of abuse from my pets but it still looks nice enough for indoors.
The chevron pattern is fun and trendy, perfect for our deck but sadly not nice enough quality for inside. You can tell it is weaved with synthetic fibers which appears cheap for an entry or hallway. I suppose used as a utility type rug it would be fine in front of a sink or laundry room since it looks like it can be washed and sprayed down. I will return the 3 hallway runners but keep the one I choose for our deck...perfect outdoor rug.
For the price of a 5'x7'7" this was great in my dining room - wide pattern that looks total designer quality and great - the best!!!
We purchased two of the 2 x 3.7 rugs to use in our office under our chairs. They look better than those plastic mats and were more economical. They are also very durable. I love the thickness of the fabric. The beige is like a raw jute color, a little darker than I expected, but it is pretty.
If you're looking for light grey then this rug ISN'T for you. I bought it thinking it was lighter. It's more of a light black than a grey.. sadly i'll be returning it.
I gave this a 4 because it is 8 feet long and has a “fold” every 6 inches. Imagine folding an 8 foot long piece of paper... I don’t know how long it will take to come out. It looks good and goes great in kitchen at cabinets ... I wanted it for entry way BUT I doubt it will lay flat for awhile and I’m afraid someone will trip on it. So it looks good. It’s closer to an outdoor rug. But great for muddy shoes and under sink/dishwasher area in kitchen. Colors are as shown. Black and a cream
We purchased this to put in a high-traffic area since our hardwood floors need replacing, and an area rug was a cheaper alternative for now. We have the blue/cream rug, and it looks beautiful. It definitely is not the same quality or plushness of other rugs we have in the house, but that was intended. If you need something in a high-traffic area and will be traipsing in with snow and rain, this is a good rug. Mud also seems to come off easily. This was a nice interim fix until we can get the floors fixed.
Just received my 14' runner in the Grey/Beige color and absolutely LOVE it! Great quality. We bought this as an indoor rug as we have extensive hardwoods and our dog slides everywhere. The material is thin and we may need to put a pad underneath, but it seems durable and like it will be super easy to maintain (especially with a dog). 2 cons I'd like to note: 1) The beige is definitely darker in person than in the picture, almost appearing yellowy. This doesn't bother me too much but my husband commented on it and thinks it makes the grey look duller, as opposed to popping on a lighter background. 2) It is not a true 14' long. Mine measured at 13' 8". Again, doesn't bother me too much, but may be an issue for some. Overall a great rug for the price and I'm happy I was able to finally find such a long (and stylish!) runner.
I really like this rug. It was exactly what I was looking for. The scale of the chevron pattern is larger than it appears in the photo. The beige is a sand color but matches my cushions perfectly. The gray is accurate. It is a true outdoor rug not like some of them that have more of a pile and can be used inside too. I returned the first one because it had several flaws in the weave. Great Offer Stock made the return very quick and easy. The replacement was perfect!
I bought both a runner and 8x10 and opened the runner first. The colors are nice but not what I expected or needed. The green is not as olive or "army green" as I expected. It seems greener than that. The beige is very beige not nearly as bright or as much of a contrast as in this picture. One end of the runner was defected but had they both been done right it would be a nice rug. It is very thin with no "plush" almost like a hard crochet but that is to be expected with an outdoor rug. I am considering keeping this for our playroom because the green matches our green couch but it lacks a bright appeal that chevron usually offers so it will require the floors to be painted a bone color. This dim colors might make it more masculine chevron and might be a great choice if if your looking for that.
I was so happy to find this rug for my kitchen after a long search. It's the perfect shape and size and the texture is great for non-slip and easy cleaning. The only complaint I have is the wrinkles didn't come out in one section but I barely notice it now.
I have 2 50/60lb boxers in Chicago and have problems with their short hair getting deep into carpet fibers and the dirt from their feet ruining carpets. This carpet is in my living room with a non-slip pad underneath and it's awesome! All dirt and hair is easily vacuumed up in 2 seconds! One of my dogs had an accident on the rug and it quickly cleaned up with some Resolve carpet cleaner and light dabbing. It doesn't look like an outdoor rug, in fact it's quite soft and I think would look strange outside, it appears to be more of an indoor rug. I have 1 complaint: The description calls this rug "Navy/Beige". It's more of a royal blue and warm white. I still love it, and it still works in my home, but it is not a deep Navy.
I needed a runner that could handle animals and people coming in to the kitchen through the back door that still looked decorative enough. I was unsure how the indoor/outdoor runners were going to look and how it was going to feel on bare feet. I am totally happy with this purchase. My cats often poke at it with their claws (they’ve ruined a new recliner, tore it to shreds) and it doesn’t show a single snag or sign they’ve been there. I also haven’t seen any mud or dirt show since I got it and the chevron pattern is really nice. The only maintenance I had to do was buy a roll of carpet tape at the hardware store and put a strip in the middle and one on either end. It doesn’t move around at all and the texture is just fine on bare feet.
it was soft on the feet and a very nice quality..
Purchased for the laundry room which werves as the main entry from our garage. Wanted something that could resist a lot of wear and tear and woundlt get ruined. Material is definitely the outdoor material, which is fine for the laundry room. Is not soft, so probably not the best option for living room or bedroom. The ligther color is definitely beige. I was hoping for slightly brighter white. It still works for me.
We bought this rug for our deck thinking it would keep our feet protected from the hot summer sun. The rain goes right through it. It worked great. To protect it during winter we brought inside. We have had it in a high traffic area where it collects lots of dirt and easily is vacuumed. Also we put under our dining table. Also works there too. So far it seems to stand up to heavy use and doesn't show wear. I would recommend this rug to a friend.
Great stylish rug to update your space for not much money! I have bought several of this brand rugs and used them indoors as well and just love them, spots totally come out. The only thing is that the colors appear a little different on the screen. I have the green and it is on the olive side which is what I wanted. I have bought other greens from this manufacturer and the green has been mint green which i was not looking for?
I had very limited options for a 9' x 12' rug for my family. Under $*, modern, easy to keep clean (children) and not too rough like a natural woven rug. This rug fit the bill, literally. And wow! When I unrolled it, I just fell in love with it. It just what we needed for our boring living room. With a decent mat underneath, it's just like any other indoor rug you would buy. Thanks to some trendy blogger I ran across, I was willing to give an indoor/outdoor rug a chance in my living room, and Overstock's quality and cost can't be beat any where else on the net or elsewhere.
