I can't give this 5 stars because of the durability issue. Even though we starched it and cleaned it regularly, the traffic through our home just made this impossible to keep for more than a year. We knew going in that it was a gamble to get such a light rug, but we thought starching, removing shoes, vacuuming multiple times a week, and cleaning it once a month would be enough to warrant the purchase--especially for the size and price! Unfortunately, it did not stand the test of time. I would not recommend this for a high traffic room / area.But it is beautiful and so soft!

It is beautiful and so soft! So glad that I decided to go with this shag rug. We put it in our bedroom, and it's perfect when getting out of bed on those cooler mornings since we have hardwood in the bedroom. I love it so much, I'm contemplating one per bedroom LOL!

So cozy! It's nice to roll around on it or dig your barefoot toes into it. I've definitely fallen asleep on it bare. This is much better than their smaller grey shag rug; for some reason that is half as fluffy as this one. Highly recommend this.

the two reviews that concerned me was that this rug came folded so it had folds in it and that it off gassed. My rug was delivered rolled up and there was no smell. Looks great!

This rug is amazingly thick; love it; feels so fantastic when you walk on it. Good quality - highly recommend it. Color is not light creme but more of a deep ivory.

This is my favorite rug in our house. My whole family of four can fit comfortably and it provides such comfort! We sit in the rug more then the couch.

Not much to complain about...all the good reviews are true...the color is white/ivory like the main image and not like the more tan colored alternate image. You will be happy.

I've had them for over a year, and there is still some chemical smell to them. I've vacuumed and steam cleaned them various times. That being said, it's not as intense as it used to be. They look great and seem to hold up well. So I'm still pretty happy, definitely for the price.

I found the rug to be of high quality. It's beautiful! I received it within two days. It's very thick and plush. I plan to buy more.

Looks great against our dark wood floor. Very cozy and dense -- with many shag rugs you can see the backing, but this one is nice and thick so that is not a problem. Doesn't shed. Arrived even earlier than expected, and the price was right. Thanks, Overstock!

The carpet is nice, color is ivory, a bit longer shag then the description and pictures... for the money it is good not great!

Very nice rug as described by many others. Color was a little darker than expected but able to use in another room. I have now ordered the cozy white shag rug as well.

This rug is wonderf! It is very soft cleans up easily and is easy to vacuum, I just use the suntion and not the roller when cleaning, excellent value!

This is the kind of carpet that you just want to lay down on, which is exactly what my teenager does when doing homework. Have even found her asleep on it for a nap.

I did not expect to like this rug as much as I do, but it's a great value! The carpet shag is soft, and it doesn't shed! Pretty durable with our pit bull and 5 yr old. Def recommend!
