I wasn't sure if this was I wanted in terms of quality but after reading the reviews online I made this purchase (first time on overstock) and I cannot be happier. Its a really good quality rug that does NOT shed at all. Extremely elegant, comfortable and goes so well with the rest of my room. I purchased a much more expensive rug earIier and was really disappointed as it just compressed within couple months of use. I am going to try this one for some time and have high hopes. Will be buying another one for my mother as she is in LOVE with this. 5 star quality and if you are thinking of getting this, dont look anywhere else just get it. Its really worth it.

Plush shag Rug. Excellent quality! Worth the price! The only problem is that my rug wasn't the size stated. After measuring and taping down the padding the rug was a few inches short. As a result I had to cut the excess padding and scrape up the glue tape that held it down. Pleaseee! Measure the rug first before you install the padding.

Absolutely in LOVE with this rug!!! I purchased two different Safavieh rugs because I wasn't sure of which color/pattern I would prefer. The quality of these rugs is so unexpectedly great that I had to keep both. Are you looking for something to help with keeping the rug from shifting around then you might like a non slip pad but if it's to provide a cushion, you don't need one. This rug is so thick and plush, your feet will be in heaven every time you step on it.

I think you would personally prefer a lighter grey rug. I had this carpet on dark hardwoods and ended up removing it and putting it downstairs. The rug is great though, and I highly recommend it for you in a lighter grey. I hope this helps;)

I didn't find this rug to have a noticeable blue hue. It is a charcoal grey, somewhere between a medium and dark shade. I was concerned also because I have a dove grey on some walls and a darker grey on a featured wall. It was far enough away from the walls to cause any concern about the color being contridictory. Hope this helps.

You cannot use the carpet attachment with the rotating brush. The pile is too high. I use the bare floor attachment and it does the job. There is no shedding from this rug so you only need to vacuum to clean it not to pick up excess shag. Great rug. Color is more silver blue than grey.

I change my vacuum setting for "high carpet". The vacuum moves slower, but it's not difficult (just pull the vacuum back towards you, not forward)..the carpet is worth it because it's very soft and comfy!

You can use a vacuum if you have a "floor" setting on It. This way the vacuum will only suck up the dirt and fuzz and the brushes won't spin.
