I have had an area rug in my living room for about a year. It is on short pile wall to wall carpet. It constantly shifts, bunches, and is a hazard. I have tried various things to fix it. I've used three different rubber pads that were supposed to stop it from happening, to no avail. This new pad is amazing! The rug not only stays in place, but it is also more comfortable to walk on. Why didn't I know about this sooner? I highly recommend this for any area rug, whether on hard wood, tile, or carpet.
