The size and shape were perfect for the 8' round rug I purchased at the same time and its very nice quality for the price. It did not need to be trimmed at all which was nice.

Held up well to washing in large commercial washer, hung dry.

This pad is about 3/16" thick, offers a little padding, is easy to lay a rug over, and keeps an area rug in place.
