No, the "leather" does not look expensive. No, the cushioning in the seat may not last forever. I had this thing delivered for about $125 and have had it over a year. I LOVE that it is orange (not really rust), VERY sturdy and kind of leans you back a little (it is a lounge chair). The back support is very nice. I like it more than more expensive pieces I have bought. Literally slide one side into the other and you're done with set-up. I might get rid of a more expensive chair to have a set of these.
We were looking for something different for our medspa waiting room and these caught my attention ...The color is pretty with gold undertones definitely faux leather but it doesn't look cheap..Shipping was amazing and it took about 5 minutes to put each together . We bought three and it actually works well placing them together as a couch . We get alot of compliments on them and they seem like they will stand up well to some use ..they do recline slightly so know that you cant place it flush against a wall .overall happy with the chairs and price..
Love these chairs as accents. Ordered 2, packing is excellent. Arrived quickly. Takes more time to remove packing than to assemble. One bolt each chair & you are done. They sit very firm but will soften with use. Love the color, a mottled orange/rust.
The Strick & Bolton Rialto Rust Faux Leather chair is awesome. The quality is top notch and the color is true. It is a very comfortable chair and i am happy that i purchased it.
I bought 8 of these chairs in four different colors: this rust, light blue, teal and lime green. This is my least favorite. It is exactly as the picture shows: a brownish red faux leather. this one looks the most like vinyl. I still give it 5 stars because it looks exactly like the picture, was very easy to assemble, is light weight but sturdy, so everything you'd expect. if you like the color, you'll love the chair. Just be sure you expect the faux in faux leather to be very faux.
Because of the price, my hopes were not high, but I was really impressed with this chair. It was bigger than I expected, the leather was softer than I expected and it was ridiculously easy to put together - literally one screw. I love it.
I love the look of this chair. It does have a bit of gold in the leather but IMO this does not look cheap at all. I have seen high end leathers with this treatment and this one looks great. It is pretty firm, not a squishy chair at all but it leans back slightly so you are reclining a bit as you sit in it. It feels sturdy, even with my six foot, 230 lb husband in it so that is a bonus. It is perfect as an extra chair in my home office.
We are very happy with this chair. It was very easy to put together and the orange is perfect with the rest of the furniture and rugs we bought at *** . The Faux Leather looks real and it's a nice mix of rusty orange. The only thing I wish was different was that the legs were more shiny and/or silver. I bought the Marin Round Glass End Table set and they match excellent in style but the legs are different.
Modern style, great style, easy to assemble. Use as extra seating. Nice addition. Not leather but 1/3 the price of this style chair in leather. Nice.
Although this has the profile of a Regency Princeton lounge chair, it is taller, bulkier and doesn't lean back as much, so it's not really a low profile piece of furniture, if that's what you're aiming for (I'm into mid-century modern/low-profile contemporary). Also, the leather has this orangy/rust "mother-of-pearl" sheen to it, which makes it look cheap, rather than having just a plain old rust color vinyl. The vinyl has that tight, squeaky, cheap feel, which makes me feel more like I'm sitting on a hard rubber inner tube than a chair. I have faux leather chairs in my dining room, and they have that buttery-soft feel, which is what I was expecting from this. If you're between 5'-5" and up, you shouldn't have any problems putting your feet on the ground while sitting on it. I'm mailing mine back.
Purchased a pair of these Faux Leather Chairs, primarily to add "spice" and an updated look to an otherwise traditional LR. Seating is relatively comfortable, and bonded leather (glorified vinyl) really has contemporary look and feel. Seating will only be used sparingly, so should last a long time. Chairs we're both delivered within 6-8 days after order placed. Assembly required 10 minutes, and a single bolt. Very satisfied!
The chair was delivered with a damaged part. I immediately contacted the company (not*******) and was pleasantly surprised with a friendly and professional American customer representative. The new part was delivered 2 days later. Now that's a company that focuses on customer satisfaction. I would have no problem with recommending this company to others and dealing with it again for my own use.
This faux leather chair assembles with 2 small screws and is super sturdy! I have short legs so need a footstool to sit comfortably for any amount of time b/c of the slope of the seat.
True as picture, will buy again!!! Quality is sturdy, back and seat super comfortable, faux leather is nice quality and overall looks expensive!
Super simple together! The faux leather material has a pretty gold sheen to it that I didn't notice in the online pictures so that was an added bonus. This chair is perfect in my midcentury modern home.
I should have bought an overstuffed chair for the front room but I loved the color of this one. It is surprisingly comfortable to sit in. I love the pop of color it brings to the room. It is faux leather but honestly who cares? It looks really good and the color is very nice. If you need a chair that gives you great back support I'd definitely say give this one a try.

this is a great chair for the price - the faux leather feels great - I knocked one star for two reasons - the color is much brighter than pictured and has a glittery sheen to it and I think the legs would have been much more rich looking in chrome... the flat silver really brings it down a bit... It is very comfortable to sit in and relatively light weight to move around - great with an ottoman!
This chair is every bit as beautiful in person as it appears in the site pictures. The orange/rust faux leather material is a brilliant, rich tone with enough variegation to give it real character. The lines are clean and classic. Assembly was simple -- slide the two pieces together, insert a single bolt, and close the flap cover over the underside. My only complaint about the chair -- the "adequate comfort" element of the title -- is that it doesn't really give any useful lower lumbar support. I find that it's only comfortable for a long sit if I use a bolster pillow for my lower back. That's fine -- when I find the perfect pillow it will be a non-issue. But out of the box, the chair leaves just a bit to be desired in comfort.
I bought this chair four years ago. I love the design of it. The faux leather has a tiny bit of a metallic type sheen to it, and I would have liked for it to be a bit more authentic looking to leather, but we kept it, and it's been a great addition to our home. It gets lots of use and has held up wonderfully for the four years.
The chair was easy to assemble and of high quality.
