This rug is ok. It is actually a synthetic and not very thick. At first I was going to return it but I put a pad under it to give it some substance. Looks like a rawhide if you don't stand to close. Feels like a synthetic, not soft to the touch. For the cost I was kinda disappointed. With todays technology I expected a better imitation.

i've been wanting a faux fur rug for FOREVER but couldn't find one that i liked that wasn't super expensive. this rug is perfect. it's soft, lays well (with a grip pad, of course) and has a wonderful pattern to it. i couldn't be happier.

If this is a look you desire, you won't be disappointed.

Bought this for my son's new apt. and it is well made and looks great, but much more affordable than a real cowhide rug!

nice this rug, moder chic

I created a sitting area in my kitchen with four swivel club chairs, this rug adds a very cool, modern rustic vibe, and it's very soft.

This is a great item for the price. I ordered one and it showed delivered but I did not get it. Don't know where UPS delivered it to. I contacted Great Offer Stock and they sent me another one. Great service. Love the rug. I wanted it for the side of the bed and it looks gorgeous.

For the price, gave it a try and, it looks AWESOME! Not into cowhide/rawhide but, now I'm getting the Ivory for a different room :-)

This rug finished my Texas room decor perfectly.

Super soft and perfect size for small area

I wish i had known the quality was so poor on this. Not happy with it. Doesn't work on the floor. It would be better suited draped over a chair or something. It bunches up and is very cheap looking

Does not even come close to looking real

I love the rustic/country feel this faux cowhide gives my new living room! I have it in front of a chair by the fireplace. It's soft, not hard and wirery like you may think. People ask if it's real. Looks great!!

This is not a $500 cowhide rug, so my expectations weren't super high. However, the rug is beautiful in person. I've gotten many compliments and I'm asked often if it's real. A trained eye knows it's not, but how many people really know the difference? lol I like the speckled look and it's got imperfections in the shape and coloring. That makes it look more real and not like the cookie cutter ones that cost twice as much. My only qualm was that my first one was stolen off the porch and it took forever to finally receive it. Great Offer Stock really should think of switching to Fedex. UPS doesn't do a very good job at all. Other than that, it was a nice find.

nice lookin grug for a great price

Beautiful faux cowhide rug. Soft and realistic looking. Cream, gray and brown colors. I bought 3 of these rugs for my informal living room and entry way. I did not want a real animal hide, but wanted something rustic. I am very pleased with how realistic these rugs look!

I'd give this rug 5 stars if the faux quality of it appeared more like hide versus fur. However, for the price I'm happy with it. Nice coloring and from afar, it's hard to see how furry it is.

The rug is soft and I do not see any shedding. I've had it for about a month. It does look fake but not necessarily in a bad way. It slides a little on a hard surface. The color looks charcoal to me. I can see some brown undertones, so I think it depends on what other colors you have against it. My floors are a dark espresso color. Great Offer Stock has been great - I made a mistake with the shipping address and they were quick to remedy it.
