I bought two of these as a matching pair on either side of a sofa. I am not keeping either. They each came unassembled in two halves connected by the electrical cord. It is a simple assembly to screw in the two parts. However, one lamp the cord was severed. I don't know if it was a manufacturer or shipping problem. The other issue I have is the place where it screws together. It doesn't form a seamless edge so you can see a very small ring of unpainted area. Not a big problem but for the price it should look better. I also thought these were wood and they are not - appear to be some sort of resin. Another negative isthe lampshade is nice but way too short. It gives the lamp (which is very tall) an odd look. If I kept it I would replace the shade with a 3-4" longer drum shade. Lastly, the paint just looks shabby - not chic. I bought these for a beach house and thought they would give it a nice coastal look. It looks horrible. The only positive is they are more substantial in length and width than most floor lamps.
Read MoreLove this lamp. It's perfect for our industrial farmhouse look. The white color brightens our space and the distressing adds an element of shabby chic. The distressing looks a little weird in parts that's why I have it a 4 instead of 5. But the overalls look and quality is superb. Also love the weight of the lamp. It's very heavy in a good way.
