Desk & Ladder Shelves I ordered the 2 selves + desk combo to spread out along my home office wall. Sturdy, looks nice, but it was a pain in the butt to put together. We had to devise some creative ways to do it. 2 engineers and a few beers later...Be prepared to glue lots of little wood dowels. Otherwise, good minimalist furniture.

The style is (almost) exactly what I was looking for to use as a t.v stand for my small (10'x11') living room with limited wall space to place a media center. Plus, I rent, o I am very cautious about wall mounting a television to 120-year-old plaster and lathe walls. I MIGHT paint the black legs of the desk to match my walls, but I may not need to as they are a grayed navy. We will see. Also, the opening under the desk is the perfect size to slide my Kivik storage ottoman into and keep it slightly tucked away, but accessible for the cats...I mean the guests. ;-)
