HBrillantes The glue to hold the plastic casing & the body is not strong enough. I have already 2 lanterns that separated & expect more. Need to be re-glued or maybe return all 12 of them. In addition, the light is quite dim (fireflies are much better) & hardly noticeable in the dark.

Solar Chinese Lanterns Love these...the only thing that you may need to do is put more glue on the inside of the lantern.....I had 2 that needed that in order to be functional....Very Pretty

Forget it . Horrible don't buy! I had some similar to these (bigger and of better quality). I bought 6 sets for a party and the globe part detached from one or two. So then. I used a glue gun to help secure them and they still fell apart. I gave one star bed the light was bright. But that's it.

Sandie I was so excited to find these and ordered them immediately. They arrived promptly and I have just finished hanging them. A few cons: The on/off switch which the instructions show as being easily accessible on the outside of the lantern are actually on the inside, but no big deal. Some of the handles were missing the tabs and weren't secured to the lantern.Had to use electrical tape to secure them. Some of the lids for the battery compartments were broken or did not stay in place. Other than these small quality issues, I love these lanterns. The colors were as shown and they look wonderful on my patio. They do not put out a lot of light but are great accent pieces!
