We heat up frozen french fries and chicken nuggets weekly. Pizzas are good on there, but might need a little extra time. I cook pre-made cookie dough in 10 min. Best part is, you do not have to heat up an oven, that cuts at least 5 min off the wait time.

  • Love it

I received one as a gift and thought I'd never use it. Now I couldn't imagine cooking pizza any other way and that includes both frozen and fresh pizzas I make myself.

  • Surprisingly Useful

This rotating pizza oven was an appliance I considered totally unnecessary until I actually tried one at a friend's house. It's worth the counter space -- which is important as appliances have to earn the real estate they occupy. I have it out all the time and just keep the round plate on its side, out of the way, until use. The bottom pan gets very hot, and the upper broiler is red hot as well. It doesn't take long at all to broil a frozen pizza to perfection, and there are no more "oh shoot, I forgot---!" when you smell your oven burning. It's visible. Furthermore, I've taken to using this as a broiler for everything except stuff which spatters. I wouldn't broil a piece of fish on it, or raw hamburger, but you can easily broil toast, muffins, sandwiches, grapefruit with brown sugar, fish sticks, and more, and best of all, you'll never again burn the garlic toast. EVERYONE burns the garlic toast at some point in their lives, don't they? Not with this. It rotates until you see the perfect brown level you want. Pros: Broils a frozen pizza very quickly -- no longer than your oven, without heating it up. Non-stick surface makes for easy clean up. Shuts off the heat automatically at the end of the timer session, so you can't forget and burn the item. Large pan broils sufficient quantities of food. You can broil top, bottom, or both, with the flick of a switch. Rotates the pan for even heat distribution. Cons: There is no on/off switch. You plug it in, and if the pan in in place, it starts. If the pan is not in place, there is no action, but it's a pain in the butt to plug and unplug the appliance I use so often. I added it to a mini power supply cord and just use the switch on the cord to turn it on and off. This is a dumb thing to not include. There is not a ton of clearance between the pan and the upper element, so anything which spatters is very close to the heating coil. Doesn't handle raw pizza dough well at all. Stick with frozen pizzas, or as we do, make pizzas made on sheets of lavosh or flat bread, tortillas, or other already bases already cooked or pre-cooked.
