We bought this for our guestroom bed. It was easy to assemble but you will need a helper to go fast and smooth. Perfect for a spare bedroom!

I don't know what I was thinking, other than needing a lower box spring. Having to assemble it should have been the clue that this wouldn't be as nice as factory assembled, covered box springs. However, I did have an additional cover to use over the meager looking one supplied.

Wonderful mattress and base was a breeze to assemble

I would give it 5 stars but the slats didn't all fit and I ended up having to loosen all the bolts I'd just tighten to fit them in the frame. This took longer than expected. Other than that it worked perfectly for a small space with a low profile bed.

I'm actually surprised at how pleased I've been with this foundation. I had a box springs/mattress combo in place which made the bed too high for a this small, second bedroom. The mattress by itself didn't really work well for the bed frame that I have. This 4-inch foundation piece added the exact amount of height that I needed. Assembly was easy (I did it by myself while watching tv). I placed it directly on top of the slats on my bed frame and am really pleased with the amount of support that it added. I've slept on the bed a few times to see what my guests' experience would be like and it's great. My son uses this room when he comes home, and so far so good! It was an easy fix for my "height dilemma" that I'd had for a year or so. I didn't know they made these incremental foundations or I would have done this a long time ago.

Adding this full size foundation to my mattress is the perfect combination to my bed.You don't even hear your bed making any noise.

Once put together, this is a great, solid product. It takes a little time to put together, but it was worth.

Thus far it is working great for my mattress which was on a platform bed. I use to feel lumps in bed while only using platform as foundation but now with this low profile box spring bed feels more comfortable; no lumps. Worth the money.

I ordered this low profile foundation to replace my old one. It arrived in just a couple of days and took only 30 minutes to assemble.. It is the best I have owned, all wood with a top cover. I would recommend this item to anyone needing a low profile foundation for their mattress

This product was easy for my husband and son to put together, their comments were that is was a really well piece -very sturdy in comparison to the traditional box spring-and the custom cover which has suede like exposed sides makes it great if you don't want to use a bed skirt, it's not "wood" showing between the frame and mattress. The foundation fit perfectly into our existing bed frame-now just waiting for a our memory foam mattress and all will be great! I'm really considering getting a king size for my bed and getting rid of the "bunky" boards.
