Arrived well packed so no paint damage from shipping. It's a folding shelf so simple to unfold into it's proper configuration with no tools needed! It is perfect as a tall side table to my desk and holds my academic papers (8.5x11") in large binders easily, and also a lot of storage in a small footprint. Very sturdy and metal is strong for it's light weight. I may buy another one for my small living room for academic books (heavy) -- that's how much I love it! I highly recommend this Folding Shelf if it matches your available space.

Love that it doesn't have to be assembled. Having just ordered other furniture which comes with no instructions other than images, poorly organized, this one just folds out, the shelf drops down and, you're good to go. I needed something of a small size to put in my entry way for things going up and down the stairs and this fits just right. I purchased some baskets at the dollar store that I put on it to hold things and they look adorable on it too. Might reorder one for my patio. Since it's all metal, it would work outside as well.
