Solid end/side table I really like the height and simplicity of the design. The wood is good quality MDF and assembly is pretty easy - table is very sturdy once assembled. Why 4 instead of 5 stars? Some of the paint was scratched and you can tell someone tried to fix the mistake by touching it up. Also, you can see the screws on the outside and the company only provides paper stickers to cover them. Its sad that they cheaped out on the screw covers because otherwise this would be a five-star piece.

Deciyded later to use it as a stand for my Internet Box and DVD player. I placed a basket on the lower shelf and was able to hide most of the wiring in there. Price was also right for the quality.

Nice look This is a really nice end table. It's not high end but is very nice. I did not put it together, I had someone do it for me. It appears to have wooden pegs. Anyway, the person that put it together is a handy dude and it took him about 20 minutes or so. Definitely espresso as described.

Very easy assembly. Great little table, very solid.

Assembly was very easy, Directions were pretty good. The only negative I discovered was that even though the connectors were fastened as tightly as possible without stripping them, the top of the table remained a bit "loose" feeling. When you lift the table by each side at the top, the top lifts from the side supports about an eighth (1/8th) of an inch. If I had to move this table frequently (it's small) to clean underneath, it would concern me that it would eventually break away entirely. Since it will be located in an area where I won't have to vacuum underneath, it will be okay. I wouldn't be afraid to purchase this; overall it is a nice little table for a good price.

This table took 20 minutes to assemble. I've had a lot of experience putting furniture together. I used a variable speed screwdriver and was careful not to tighten anything too much before making the final adjustments and then tighten away!

I can't find the measuring tape or even a ruler. But using my thumb, the bottom shelf is approximately 6" and the top shelf is slightly less than that. As far as the legs, they are really narrow so I know if you can add casters that have to be screwed in. I really love this table and I'm very happy that I bought them.

The distance between shelves is 8.5 inches. And casters should work OK. I wouldn't put an excessive amount of weight on it, though. I hope that helped you out somewhat.
