"I am looking for an extension table that would match midcentury living penelope danish modern tapered-leg dining chair (chestnut stain), item 18715927. Any suggestions?"
I purchased four of these in the walnut to accompany my dining set which has 6 chairs. The additional 4 chairs will seat larger groups. What I like about these chairs is that they are easy to assemble, solid, and look very, very similar to my existing chairs circa 1950. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the vinyl seat cover - not a deal breaker, but fabric would have been nicer. I plan on recovering them in a fabric to coordinate with the other chairs in my set, but all in all, for the price I paid, I'm very happy with these.

Great chairs, but inconsistent coloring & quality Like the matching bench, these chairs are very sturdy! The memory foam cushion is a little dense and you can tell they'll be cushy for a long time. Two negatives: the backs of my 2 chairs appear to be different shades; one is lighter than the other (pictured). And, on one of the chairs, the veneer has started to bubble after only a month of having them (pictured). I contacted customer service but since my color was no longer in stock they offered me a refund of *** to return the chairs for a full refund, or a year of Club Great Offer Stock with *** credit. Overall I am still pleased with my purchase and the chairs are sturdy and comfortable. But it sounds like the quality is hit or miss with these.

Sturdy Chairs These chairs are nice and sturdy and a good deal for the price. I agree with the other reviewers that the chair fabric is vinyl and it should be better described. That said, I like it personally because you can clean it. All the fabric upholstered dining chairs I've had get so dirty and are impossible to clean.

Lovely and affordable Looked at tons of dining chairs online hoping for something in the under-$80 price point that feels and looks nice. These chairs came the other day and so far I am thrilled. We spent probably 20 minutes per chair to put them together and ended up with something that feels nice and sturdy. The seat has a nice level of padding with a textured vinyl-type material that somehow still manages to look nice and not feel unpleasant or crackly. I think will be easy to wipe down if (when) the grandkids get crazy with the spaghetti sauce. The back of this chair has a very nice slant to it, and was noted as very comfortable by my 5-1 daughter, my 5-6 self, and my 6-1 husband. I can't say anything about the durability yet obviously, but I am crossing my fingers!

Broke in two places These chairs have caused me more grief than it's worth. First, the package came missing the hardware so I had to wait another 1.5 weeks until I could build it. Then on one chair, the cushion would not stay fastened to the base with the screws that came with it. The other chair cracked when we screwed the leg to the frame. We thought it would work with the crack but I guest sat in it and it broke. So embarrassing! Great Offer Stock would not refund the money to us without going through the motion of returning the product. It's a pile of parts and I no longer have the packaging and it's more trouble than it's worth. Will never purchase anything from here again.

Quality varies I ordered 3 sets for a total of 6 chairs. On one of the chairs, the wood on the back of the chair was heavily warped. Assembly is time-consuming, approximately 20-30 minutes a chair, but not difficult.

Great Value Just as pictured....light but solid. Seat is tan PU, but if you are handy with staple gun you can cover seat easily. As others have said, these can be tricky to put together. We purchased 6 chairs and it got easier with each. I am very happy with these chairs and feel that they are a very good value.
