I purchased this same stand in NC almost 2 years ago. I live in South Florida and use the first one under a rectangular shaped outdoor dining table with a large wooden rectangular market umbrella. This stand is constructed well and very sturdy a. The two screws hold the umbrella well. I am purchasing a second one from Great Offer Stock for another 9 foot aluminum umbrella. The only problem we had with this stand was the fact the base pole did not have any drainage for rain that collected at the bottom. I had my neighbor use a drill press and drill several small holes at the bottom sides of the aluminum pole to allow for drainage. Problem solved. I also have two of these stands on our deck in NC. We keep the umbrellas in the stands year round and they exceeded out expectations there also.
