We got this to block out a nosey neighbob. Works great! Only concern is for leaving the curtain down 24/7 as I think it will wear. Solution is to pull up the shade when not needed

I have not hung this shade up yet. The man who does those tasks for me has not been back to finish. I bought them to block the sun in the summer. At that time of year the sun sets and shines right into the kitchen window where we sit to eat our evening meal. Even the blinds on the window are not enough to block light to make it comfortable enough to have dinner. I cannot write a review without a rating, so I chose "fair" - when in fact I cannot rate this item yet. I think it will work well, but as of yet - I don't know.

Inexpensive, and it works to cut the sun glare. Not perfect, sunlight still gets through, but the alternative would be to make it very dark. A good alternative to glaring sun on our screened porch's western setting.

Was a little large for my new little back porch. My contractor got it up in no time, instructions could have been a little more detailed. Additional information after installation: I answered a question regarding replacement rings to secure. Coolaroo sells bungy cord ties and mounts to replace the rings on products manufactured after 2014. I will order these direct, as the rings do not secure during wind where I have installed and the rings and end caps slide out easily.

love this and blocks the hot Sacramento sun in the afternoon and evening. Wish it came in a in between size. I ordered 4 ft. width and 6 ft. is way to wide.

The shade was exactly what I needed. My deck is on the West side of my condo outside my living room. The sun is so hot I needed something to protect my living room carpet and furniture.

It's not great quality but wirks fine.

This was easy to install and looks beautiful on my outdoor patio. I used the bottom rings to tie it down during a gentle breeze and they held up just fine. It blocks the glaring sun while still allowing you to see through it so you don't feel like you're closed in.

Shades are good, the additionI would add would be an anti extend device. This would stop the wind from extending the shade as it is secured at the bottom. Our experience is that we lower and secure the shade at the bottom, winds, even gentle ones come up, and the shade billows like a sale and extends to it's max, some times. Otherwise, the shades are very effective in blocking the evening sun on our screened porch.

These shades were perfect for my new covered patio. They keep the glaring sun out out yet let me see my yard.

I bought this for privacy, but it really does cool down your porch. Simple to install. I was afraid lighter color would be see through, but its not and it's a great color, light tan.

This is a great deal for $***. Installed with no problem, looks great and keeps the sun which always shined into our deck diffused.

easy to install and look great. the only con is that they go up a bit slanted even after doing all the adjustments. hopefully in time it will roll perfectly. I would highly recommend this item
