I bought these for my old dog (and old me as well) to keep her from slipping on wood stairs. These work fine but I did have to use double sided tape to keep them in place. The "non-slip" backing might be enough over carpet but not on hard flooring.

treads do not stay put on the steps. disappointing

i ordered these to prevent my elderly dog from slipping down the stairs but they failed at their 1 job! there is nothing skid-resistant about them. i am so disappointed!

Works great for the dog on the stairs

Quality product but I purchased them to be used like runner rugs and they wont stay still. I will have to buy the backing to keep them in place. Still overall happy.

these were advertised as non slippery. as they are stair treads, that is very important to me. they slid all over and I can no way safely use them. Will be returning.

Our bulldog was having a hard time on our wood flooring, especially coming down. These treads cured her problem. They are as advertised. Needed no additional hold.

Looks great and functions properly

Bought 14 for my stairs to help old dog get a better grip. The treads are better than I expected and just the right color. Stairs are old so after cleaning, I stapled the treads on and all is working great.

I recently ordered two sets of these stair treads. After researching stair treads, I ordered these for the price. I had no idea that stair treads could be so expensive. These treads are a great value! They look great on my stairs and they're comfortable to walk on. I am going to order two more sets for my basement stairs!

Bought these to make it easier for my dog to go up and down the step. They were easy to install and work great.

We recently purchased an old mid-century house with wood stairs. Our poor pups were NOT happy with the stairs and had a few wipe outs before we installed these stair treads. They did the trick! Since the stairs are old and will need to be replaced some day we just used a staple gun to secure these treads in place. Easy to get up and down now for the pups and easy to vacuum too! Great purchase!

Decent quality for the price and great on small steps; non-skid backing is needed because they do not stay in place with small animals. Hold up great for the beating my two dogs give them. Clean up easily; have not tried them in the washer or dryer yet.

I use the in the 5 steps in my garage so my older Basset hound can go outside. They give him enough grip.
