So obviously I was impressed to discover this was actual wood! The only laminates I saw were the drawer bottoms. I use wood glue on all joints and dowels and this thing is sturdy as a bridge after a couple months of use and moving it around to find the "sweet spot" in the living room. I do recommend using a cordless drill/drivers and small extension as some of the joints can be a bit hard to get at and your forearm will thank you for the using the cordless. I fell it was fairly priced for its size and construction.

Just the right size and the wood finish is lovely!. I had two friends put this together and it only took them a few minutes. Years ago I decided to junk the cases my DVDs came in and put them in binders. They fit beautifully on ONE shelf. The other shelf is reserved for my blue ray player when I get one. And the drawers hold all of my music CDs. I LOVE this stand.

Aside from needing a few pilot holes, this went together very nicely with a power screwdriver. It is very nice looking, solid and sturdy.

The box was completely beat up when we got it and a piece of the shelf was cracked and chipped. It's mostly hidden so we just dealt with it. Seems to be decent quality for *** but I wouldn't pay more for it! Drawers are wobbly and seemore cheap. I feel I got what I paid for.

The tv stand is beautiful! The only thing is the front panel had 3 wood chips. My husband put wood stain and it matched the cherry wood real good so you could not tell it had the chips. I almost sent it back, but my husband saved the day!
