Beautiful but hard to keep in place We knew going into this purchase that the tub was hard to secure to the floor, but loved the design and the price. We still love it, but even after trying to glue it to the tile, it still slips. We've been racking our brains for solutions. Meanwhile, we're very careful not to bump it. My husband loves the size. He is 6'2" and takes a bath daily.

Good value....but.... The tub itself is great, but the faucet they recommended doesn't work as pictured. We had to install it on the side of the tub instead of the end. Kinda of a bummer...but tub is a thumbs up!!

Great Offer Stock really answer all my questions , send me all information for my installation . Customer care is fantastic! Delivery was fast . Just don't let the delivery ppl rush you when delivered , take your time to inspect - but all was really good condition. If you don't have time to inspect or you installing later ,write next to delivery signature - inspection upon opening box . But I cannot say enough praise for Great Offer Stock All was OK and came so fast ! It is great product nice and deep , holds heat ( my old one - water got right away cold). Love this product ! Love IT! We just completed a major renovation. I told my husband I wanted a soaker tub (not the jetted ones we've had in the last few homes). He didn't recall my using the jetted tubs of past, and didn't know if we 'really needed one'. I promised I would use a soaker tub. This one was exactly what I had hoped for. Fits perfectly in our space and not overly long (as he was afraid I'd sink into the tub flat while bathing)! In reading the previous reviews I was worried about the tub itself sliding; he was worried about maintaining the temperature of the water. So, we filled most of the cavity of the tub with foam insulation (we went through alot, and in retrospect we could have used batting insulation instead) and the tub doesn't really move (our contractor has offered to silicon the two short ends to keep it from moving). I had my first bath since having it installed and it was everything I could have hoped forl!!

Beautiful This tub is beautiful and great for the price. It is not heavy and will not hold the heat as long as a porcelain tub, but it is perfect for the occasional bather who wants a beautiful look. It is also huge! Our handyman had to take the trim off of our door to get it in the bathroom. So measure before you order! It also has a strange installation process. He didn't want to cut through our ceiling to get to the drain, so he managed to us a flexible drain and make it work. I am thrilled with the final outcome, but it is a tricky installation. Leave it to a professional for sure.

This my recommendation: have the tub arrive before the plumber does his work. Have the demo completed, place the tub in the spot you want it. If you are comfortable removing the drain from the tub (we did not try this), then you will be able to exactly trace the inside of the drain circle onto your subfloor. We measured from the wall in both directions in order to mark the new drain location, for the plumber to know where it needs to be. If I were to consider it perfect placement, it would have been an inch over. Close but not perfect. If I had to do it over again, I would have looked at removing the drain to get the tub flush to the floor, then trace the circle within the drain space. Good luck. I do love it. Retains heat very well and looks amazing!

No. The drain is at the high end of the tub.

My drain is at the LOW end of the tub where your feet would rest. Our bathroom sits on a slab, and the plumbers had to trench thru the concrete and relocate the drain from the previous tub. If you are on the 2nd floor or over a basement that would be a less messy fix. Good luck.

Shouldn't be a problem at all. We just had ours installed and we put in a wall mounted faucet. The only thing I would recommend you think about is the access you may need down the road...If you place it on the backside between wall and tub, it will be difficult to change out/replace down the road without having to remove the entire tub. If you place it on the open side of the tub you may have the horizontal drain pipe to look at that is in addition to the freestanding faucet.

There are no faucet or holes drilled with the tub. However you have the choose to install a freestanding or mounted faucet. I love this tub. I bought it recently and choose the freestanding Athena Faucet . Very happy with both. Here are two videos i found helpful for the installer and for me to understand the options. **
