Would recommend this dehydrator. I've used it for nuts and fruits and it works wonderfully. The only fault I think is it's not a quiet dehydrator.

Bought my first one over thirty years ago and used it very often. Last summer the heater stopped working, I took it apart and fixed it. But it failed a month later. So I bought this one. I dry many vegetables, make jerky and dehydrate sauces for camping. It is a real workhorse.

My mother had this exact model (controls slightly different, but same size, etc.) The motor burned out due to being in storage in a hot attic for a decade. I wanted to replace her model, so was thrilled to see that this one is still available! I love it. Easy to use, does exactly what it's supposed to do, and is going to last me for the rest of my life. My kids can fight over it when I'm gone!

the main reason to buy this dehydrator is that it actually reaches and maintains high temperatures needed for jerky and other foods!
