Gave this to my son for Christmas, he love it, great for beef jerky

I have had problems with it. I have sent the head back to Nesco to have them ck it out. it only dehydrates on the outside edge.

I love this dehydrator! It is fairly quiet and has great circulation no matter how many trays are full! I have dehydrated all of my backpacking food in it without any problems.

Works great. Nice to have the fan on top blowing down .I like having temperature settings instead of just hi, medium or low.

I've made jerky with the mix that came with the machine and it was great. The machine is wonderful. Fruit comes out great, especially fresh cranberries. I used to own a ***** many years ago. Was that a dinosaur. This is so much better. The fan gets to all of the trays. Always use all 5 trays even if they are not full. The trays are easy to clean. I don't put them in the dishwasher. I think dishwasher detergent is too harsh for many things. The only thing I don't like is that there is no on/off switch. You have to pull out the plug.

Arrived quickly at a super price. Have made beef jerky, fruit leather and dried fruit. Can take up to 15 hours depending on temperature and humidity. Apricot leather turned out best for texture sweeten with pineapple juice and honey. Would rate the included beef jerky cure packets a B+. Would strongly recommend this unit!

I'm loving my Dehydrator! I've only done some apples and bananas so far but am waiting for my garden to start producing my veggies.
