Thought this headboard would work without platform bed that is sold separately. It's unsecured, can't attach mattress frame to it. Also wider than full size bed so space on each side. A cut out for lamp cord would be nice too.

it didn't take as long as I thought it would to assemble. I would recommend this for a queen size bed because it is large for a full (what I had bought it for, but ended up using it in another room with a queen mattress). I had hoped it would be taller because I use pillow shams and when I set them upright against the headboard, they covered most of the shelving (the stock picture shows them slanted). Overall, not a bad headboard for the price.

Needs to be anchored to wall or bed frame. There is little stability with it on carpeted floors. We will have to create a way to anchor it.

ordered a full and it more like a queen, instruction on assembly puts the back board outside in, will need to do some painting.

Reasonable quality. A couple of defects in the laminate edges were found during assembly but weren't worth disassembling for. A touch of brown paint disguised them OK. I recommend carefully examining each piece before assembly.

I have gotten much better units from Sauder. Not pre-drilled for frame

headboard is good matches the bed frame. you just have to space the headboard away from the bed frame to open the drawers in the bed frame.

I put this headboard in my guest room in an attic room. It is perfect and so seems well built. Looks great
