We've had this bed for 7 months now and we still love it. I love the neutral color of the wood and the backboard is soft but sturdy. The only thing is that recently one of the screws where the backboard meets the side board got stripped and caused the frame to collapse in one corner but we secured it with wood glue as a temporary fix.

Pretty but poor quality I love the way this bed looks, but it broke just a week into using it. We tried to fix it and now it makes really loud, annoying squeaking noises. We tried to be frugal and get a reasonable bed but this was a bad choices because now we need to buy a new one.

Broke after 6 months We ordered the king size and were a little concerned about the quality while putting it together- the slates were not very substantial and the support didn't seem enough for a king size bed. We didn't expect a lot for the price, but at least hoped it would hold up! After 6 months (luckily in the morning and not middle of the night!) it completely broke, the support beam snapped. We looked and the spots for the cam-locks were also cracked. Hoping we can get replacement parts to still use the bed. I'd say spend a little bit more to get a quality bed!

Utter garbage The center supports are completely worthless. They buckle and shift at any slight movement of the bed. With a king size bed, this makes the bed essentially useless as the slats will snap in a second without solid center support. Of course, you will not recognize this until AFTER you've spent an hour and a half assembling the bed and in order to return it will have to spend another hour disassembling and god knows how long trying to fit all the component parts back into the tiny boxes that arrived so tightly packed.

Decent product, easy to assemble, looks great This product is satisfactory for the price. It looks great and it was easy to assemble. The only problem is that it never feels too sturdy. For the first week I was worried that it might break beneath me and I'm not a big person. I've been sleeping in the bed now for 6 months and that initial fear of it breaking is gone, but it still creaks and moans whenever I lay down....still it looks good.

Sturdy and Chic! After reading a bunch of the other reviews, I was a little hesitant to order this but decided to do it anyway. I'm so glad I did! Everyone else seemed to have been basing their low rating on missing hardware or being difficult to assemble, however none of the pieces were missing and it wasn't any harder to put together than your average *** piece of furniture. I was able to easily assemble this by myself in about an hour or so tops. The quality is way better than I'd expected, and it's very sturdy and well-made. The charcoal grey upholstery and wood finish look exactly as they do in the photos, and there are even wood caps included to plug the screw holes. For under $400 you can't beat the style and quality of this - well done, Baxton Studio, well done!

Stylish bed; could be higher quality I really like how the bed looks, modern but also sturdy. The bed is higher than I expected, even without a box spring, so you may want to measure before ordering (I see this as a perk, but many want a low bed). The main reason for the loss of a star is that the side rail was damaged when the bed arrived - there was a small crack in it, which got a whole lot bigger when we put the bolts in. I contacted Craigslist hoping that they could mail a new side rail. They apparently don't have parts, but we liked the look of the bed so much that we decided to keep it anyway - nothing a little wood glue won't fix. That said, I'm not optimistic that we'd be able to take it apart and get it back together again. The bed feels surprisingly stable for the low quality of the wood, and the finish makes the wood look really nice. The instructions were not easy to understand, but it's a bed, so we were able to sort it out anyway. I'm pretty satisfied overall, but it the quality could be better.

Satisfied I am very pleased with the bed. It is of great quality and seems more expensive than it was. The only draw back to the bed is when it is put together it is going to stay put together. It is not designed for easy dismantle. Make sure you build this bed where you intend to have it for a long time. Overall I am very pleased with the design and it is a great addition to my room.
