The steel slats work well with my memory foam mattress since sometimes the wooden slats may have some give and makes the foam mattress too soft. Overall, it was a great value and is a welcomed addition to my guest room.

Would buy again... Purchased for a young girl's room. Not difficult to assemble, just a real pain. [why I did not give it a 5 star rating]. There were 4 of us trying to hold pieces in place. It was quite comical really. Worth the money spent and looks sharp. Would buy it again.
